Who's fault was it that DLH/PBF sucked?

 at Oscar and Floyd being the same size. Floyd spent the first 5 years of his career at 130 and a little bit above (for non-title fights). Oscar made 130 2 times, and 5 years into his pro career, was fighting at 147 and looking filled out there as well. Oscar's been @ 154 since 2001, since Floyd was a junior lightweight.

Do these guys look the same size to you?

Oscar had one of best defences Floyd ever faced in that fight. Oscar always had good defence but in Floyd fight it was superb. His footwork though was something else, but I think he was keeping feet flat so he could punch harder. Oscar takes more punches than Floyd but he puts out more punches which exposes you more.

That was a very suspect SD. Kaczmarek scored the fight 7-5 Oscar. However, he scored rounds 10 and 12 to Oscar. No way in hell Oscar won round 10. You'd have a hard time arguing he won round 12.

Exactly!! legacy is all that counts not money. Who do you think the people will remember PBF for making all the millions he made or Tyson for giving us awesome fights. Im using Tyson because he is a common household name like PBf has now become. But make one of those Common people sit down and watch a full day of boxing fights and let him know how each fighter fights. Give him the options of watching:

    Morales's Career fights.
    PBF's Career fights.
Its just like i heard once on a boxing show. Show me a fighter who is undeafeated and i will show you a fighter who has not fought anyone.
Losses do not hurt legacys. We are all humans and are not perfect. Everyone will lose when facing the toughest opposition. Something PBF has not done lately.

PROVE it..you whole post is full of ****. His defense isnt going to matter..:rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl:patsch WOW. Against the most accurate puncher the sport has ever seen. Defense dont matter. ODH had more foot speed and reflexes. Thats why he got hit pretty easily by everybody he fought. His left hand and jab was no better then the it was in the Fight with floyd. He threw the punch the same way he was more raw then and made a **** load more mistakes. He got dropped more then and was able to fight fighters that were willing to trade shots with him. When he ran into somebody who actually moved in the ring in an old ass whitaker..he looked just as stupid swinging missed shots as the way Floyd made him just swing and block everything. You are ****ing hilarious. :rofl:rofl:rofl

Let's also remember that Floyd admitted that he had to starve himself for 4 days to make 130 pounds. Oscar was actually healthy as he moved up in weight. When he fought at 135, he looked great at the weigh ins, like he wasn't even cutting weight. Floyd admitted once he moved up to 147 that he couldn't make lightweight again if his life depended on it. I think that Floyd is very natural at 147. He just doesn't put on much weight after the weigh ins because he is always in TOP shape.

I think it was a clear UD for Mayweather. But I don't think one can pretend that this DLH is the same one who fought Trinidad and Mosley. I also don't think that Mayweather, who I believe to be the better overall fighter, is a great WW, but a good one.

Are you trying to backup that other poster's claim that they're the same size?

Prove it? Yes, I will get to work on that time machine. I assume you believe your opinion is "proof".

I think it's hilarious how upset guys like you get anytime someone doesn't agree with you. Stop crying so much.

My guess? You didn't see much of DLH early on. Otherwise you would know that DLH threw more punches so he got hit a little more. His defense was just fine. And he was rarely "dropped" and certainly not hurt.

Oscar used to get praised for his defense earlier in his career. Up until even after the Trinidad fight, Oscar's opponents had a lower overall connect percentage than Roy Jones Jr. They did a little segment on HBO leading up to the first Mosley fight.

Besides that Oscar showed great defense in the Mayweather fight. He blocked just about everything that Floyd threw with his gloves. You can watch the fight in slow motion, see Floyd throw 5 shots that feather dust Oscar gloves, then turn it back to nromal speed and listen to the commmentators rave about what a great combo it was.:patsch

Also in the best shape he been in since the second Mosley fight. Also he did not show one hint of ring rust. All that **** dont matter, he looked like a better more schooled fighter in the ring with Floyd rather then when he gave and take back in the day. As I said, when you fight a guy that is not going to trade shot for shot ODH will always have problems. He had problems with Shanes movement in the first fight...lol and Floyd fought ODH a different way then he usually does. Floyd stood his ground flat footed right dead in front of ODH.......DO YOU THINK THAT WAS HIS ONLY APPROACH?????>?:rofl

Exactly, my favorite fight of all time is Leonard/Duran 1. Leonard, my boy, lost that one. My favorite DLH fight is the first one with Mosley. He lost that one too. Sometimes its not about if you win or loose but how you go out. Guess which fight is my favorite Malignaghi fight? You guessed correctly.
