Who's fault was it that DLH/PBF sucked?

Why would I do that? When did I say they were the same size? I think that both of their most natural weights were 140-147 though. Oscar is a bit bigger, but really isn't some HUGE Jr. Middleweight. Look at how easy Tito carries that extra weight, Oscar has small bone structure. His feet are tiny, ect... he isn't a big guy. He has a broad upperbody, and has a little bit of height on Floyd. They both moved up in weight as they matured. Oscar kept going up and up for the bigger fights and the bigger challenges. I think that Oscar would be better suited fighting Mayweather at 147. This would force Oscar to get into great shape, and not just train well enough to be in good shape and look to be in good shape. When Oscar fights at 154 it is way too easy for him to make weight, and he just doesn't need to work as hard in the gym, and probably doesn't given all of the things that he has going on outside of it.

I guess in the Vargas fight, the Mosley first and second fight, the Quartay fight.......all of his big fights even the Whitaker fight all defensive masterpieces. Lets throw in the Gatti fight as Gatti was landing big shots on him as well.....

Oscar didn't always try to show defensive masterpieces. He fought with a lot of heart, and wasn't afraid to get hit. It isn't always easy to look like a defensive master when you have fought all of the great fighters that Oscar has. Sometimes you are put into situations where you have to take some to give some.

Ok, I get it. He had great defense but just didnt use it. Thats all you had to say. So if ODH was his old self and aggressive and BOXED more and he took that approach in fighting any version of Floyd..he would of done better. Or be open for more counter punches. ODH took the best approach in his fight with Floyd and had the perfect gameplan to beat him. A younger ODH was more wild and let his hands go and had good movement but he would of lost to Floyd anyway. Prime for prime at 147.

    It didn't suck.

In my opinion it was a decent fight and didn't bore me.

If it wasn't a slugfest it was because Mayweather's style.

Do you just try to be difficult? Oscar was never exactly a wild fighter, except for a few of his early early days when he just wanted to blow people out of the water. Not being afraid to get hit doesn't mean that he is fighting wild. It just means that he is not afraid to get hit. He is willing to put some punches together, and trade some shots because he knows that he can take what is coming at him. He has a great chin.

Oscar could beat Floyd many ways. He can do exactly like he did in his last fight... in his younger days he could overwhelm him. Personally, I think that the best way to beat Floyd would be to force Floyd to come at him. If Oscar took his half step back, used his great jab, and forced Floyd to take some chances, I think that Oscar cleans him up. Floyd doesn't look so great when he has to move forward and make something happen. He is much better when his opponents follow him around and take all the chances.

DLH would be open to more counters, but he would also land more because he was faster then than he is now. He wouldn't be in the same positions he was in last year. You mention his fight with Whitaker. Yes, Whitaker made him miss, but DLH won a close fight that could have gone either way because when he did land, he landed harder shots. So as I said, he would still land. I think his bigger punches would eventually earn him a UD over this version of Mayweather. I don't think 147 Mayweather is as good as 140 and below. Most people don't.

I watch the fight quite a few times and this fight could have been a draw. There is way too many fans arguing about who won the fight. With this said, then a rematch is a great idea to settle this once and for all. I do ask what the judges were watching during the eighth round. Oscar won that round hands down, but it was given to Floyd by all judges. If they would have give that round rightfully to Oscar, we would have gotten a different verdict. Let's just stop mud slinging and let's just see who wins.

i actually think thats the worst way to fight him..by doing this you are going to get into a boxing match with pbf and you cant outbox him..dlh used that strategy against whitaker who was a better boxer and got outboxed..

Dude, you obviously haven't watched many DLH fights. If you are comparing DLH's defence to Mayweather's than of course DLH will loose everytime. NO ONE is as good defencively than Mayweather. However, watching a Mayweather fight is like waiting to see when the groundhog will come out of his hole. However, DLH's offence is better than Mayweather's.

Win before anything else. It was a close fight so it would've been stupid as **** for either fighter to gun for a knockout.

Thanks for owning him and KGowhatever in one simple post. Floyd came forward pretty much his whole career starting out. If ODH got into a boxing match with floyd he would lose. Especially the younger ODH who's right hand was not only shitty but slow and not accurate. This was SAID during majority of his fights. Floyd beats ANY version of ODH. Especially the generic Floyd version that fought Gatti when ODH fought in Mayweathers hands low style of fight. That was actually funny to look at.
