I know this has probably been done to death already but who's going? I just got my tickets so the mighty Scurla will be in his home town to watch the East End dust up of the decade!
Scurla, are you certain this event will take place as advertised? From looking at this from a North American perspective it appears to be a real tangle. Unless this event is either moved out of the country or Frank makes some compramise with the BBBC, it looks like an all out war between two very powerful entities.
I'm sure Frank will sort out the issues with the BBBofC prior to the bout. With the amount of money involved i'm sure they'll come to some sort of deal. As im sure we're talking in the region of 10's of millions for Britain's biggest domestic heavyweight bout since Bruno Lewis in the 90's. Anyway the venue is literally 15 minutes from my house so i have to be there! No way i'm missing this for the world! I don't think for a minute the BBBofC are a powerful entity. They're anything but that. They're also not stupid enough to cut their nose to spite their face. So i'm sure a deal will be reached.
I'm going.Travelling down from Edinburgh for this one. My pal Lenny Henry helped me out with a cheap Premier Inn room.
Good show! I don't think any one country supports their boxers more than England! Especially when the dust up is in the East End! :happy
I'm going. Been on holiday for a week and come back to find out this fight's happening, Peterson got caught and somebody had got me a ticket without me having to ask.
Haye vs Chisora? WFT! When did this happen. I've been pretty much on here solidly for the last week, but had no idea
I'm a bit scared it'll literally turn into Beirut... But yes I'm travelling 6 hours down the country to see this fight.
You should have been here when Millwall came to town. It was ****ing mayhem for at least 3-4 miles around Upton Park.
