Who's got a worse defence out of Carl Froch and Lucian Bute?

They both keep their secondary arm low and they both get hit a lot.

Who will pay most for that trailing hand and for that bad defence? What do you fellers think?

Put Bute against a fighter with a good jab and a good right hand like Pavlik and he's in big trouble.

Put Froch against a fighter with a good chin and a good overhand right like Bika or Andrade or a good left like Bute and he's in big trouble.

Want to see me Bute and Froch fight it out. Think it would be a good fight, with plenty of hitting.

Well Bute didn't get hit much against Joppy:hey

Seriously Bute uses distance well and he would school Froch who his very open to counter punches but as you stated both are vulnerable but to different punches and styles.

Froch by a margin for me. Bute's isn't that bad, he is a bit exposed to a good right hand though.

Bute is way better in any aspect, but i still think he will struggle against Andrade, Andrade will make Kessler look good, when is that fight on?

Joppy was an old man and a middleweight. A tall prime super middleweight with a good jab and right and Bute gets hit. If Joppy hit him plenty...

Froch's defence is worse. I'm a fan of his, but Bute and Kessler I'm reasonably sure outbox him, because they have sound fundamentals and a chin. Andrade could also outwork him, and has the chin to take Froch's best shots

The rest I fancy Carl to beat

Froch's defense is worse by a bit, but his offense is better than Bute's by a sunday mile.

My little brother is only 5, but yes he often talks more sense :yep

I probably agree with you on other things, I just only happen to have noticed your posts on Bute and Pavlik who you overrate :D

I've never seen Bute fight but his resume is coming along nicely; undefeated in 22 fights with 18 KOs including wins over Bika, Berrio and Joppy - Bute must be decent.

Froch has a terrible defence but he's got a great chin. Bute must have a better defence than Froch, but how is his chin?

Few boxers can punch through a guard like Froch can, add to that his obvious power advantage over Bute and all I see offensively that Bute has over Froch is perhaps the jab. On the other hand when Froch actually uses his jab its very good.
