Which boxing fans got it worse when it comes to having to listen to annoying, inaccurate, biased, DNSAB, repetitive and bs commentary/punditry? Uk ? Jim watt , Nelson, bellew etc USA? Ranallo, hbo etc. It's close between ranallo and jim watt . Bellew was trolling last night: " I can't make a case to give the fight to pascal." And before someone tells me to mute the tv, I like posting and watching the fight so I don't wanna miss anything.
The HBO crew was garbage last night. They basically took the bookie's opinion of Takam as gospel and continued to say the Perez would dominate him even while Takam was landing the harder singular shots employing his outside strategy. Then, whne Takam took over at the very end of the 6th, they suddenly began praising him for changing. Takam is just better than they knew he was. The called him an unknown, these socalled boxing "experts", while we at ESB, have known Takam would one day be a biggish name when he was able to get big fights. As for the Bute fight......it was obvious they're trying to go along with Stevneson in his duck of KOvalev.......not even mentioning his name in their interview of Stevenson. So instead, they feel they'd try to build Pascal, who'd likely fare better vs Adonis than would Bute. And I know we have the luxury of DVR and slomo while we watch, but they acted like Bute was constantly hurt. The guy just couldnt pull the trigger on his punches. But when he did, they were by faaaaaar the more effective shots.:roll:
