I did bring up punch stats, but in round one GGG out landed and easily out jabbed Canelo. The DAZN commentator was Canelo blinded saying GGG only landed 2 jabs. DAZN showed their true colores that night.
Why don't we go through round 1 and do a "revised" punch stats? Jabs landed with time stamps, other punches landed with timestamps.
ROFLMAO !! You get sillier with every post You Quote Punch Stats one minute then you say Punch stats are UNRELIABLE !!!!!!! I Give Up
No @m.s. cited punch stats. He stated matter of factly that GGG only landed 10 fewer punches than Canelo, to suggest the fight was close. I then pointed out that punch stats had Canelo outlanding GGG 9 rounds to 3, while he stated that (according to him) Canelo only won 7 rounds to 5. So if he's going to rely on punch stats, then punch stats suggest Canelo won 9 rounds to 3, not 7 to 5 as he claimed. You can't have your cake and eat it too. If you're going to use punch stats to say the overall punches landed were similar, as he did, then you can't escape the RBR punch stats which had Canelo landing more punches in 9 rounds.
No need, i have eyes and a dvd with slow motion and a mute botton. I don't need to try to convince somebody that thinks Canelo won all three fights, that would be fruitless.
Oh too bad. I thought you'd want to support your score of that round since you're in the minority on who won that round. Like you know how I supported my score of the first fight with timestamps and punch summaries of rounds where my scoring differed from the majority. I would be interested to hear your reaction to those one-sided press scores. Most seem to have it 11-1 Canelo, while you had it a much closer 7-5. How do you explain that disparity?
Punch stat Punch stats is just part of it, the eye test is the other. I'm sure you agree, because GGG twice out landed Canelo by healthy margins.
The eye test? The eye test from most of the press saw it as a near shutout, with tons of 11-1 scores and some 10-2s and 9-3s scattered in. Most people were outraged by the 115-113 score, which was universally seen as far too close on the night and not representative of how thoroughly one-sided it was.
Your system with time stamps don't work because know matter how you slice it, Canelo lost the first fight and it wasn't very close.
On fight night i had it 7-5, same on the rewatch. Canelo landed most his body shots low or on GGG'S elbows, none of which counts. Canelo never got warned or penalized.
It It was so thorough that Canelo almost cried when it was over and couldn't stop saying what a strong and great fighter GGG is.
What do you make of the press scores who largely saw as a one-sided near shutout for Canelo? That's not me, that's the press scoring.
It's a simple question. What do you make of the press scores who overwhelmingly saw it as a one-sided near shutout for Canelo?
