Who's greater Hopkins or Morales?

LOL. Zaragosa was still a great fighter then. believe that. and if he was so past it, Morales wouldn't have struggled like that.

you can add Maidana, Cano, mccullough, jones, and Lowey to that list.

 

How are we comparing these considering the weight classes they fought in ??

 

Zaragoza was certainly way past his best. Morales stunk in that fight but his youth and tenacity saw him through in the end. Not a terribly great win, and pales in comparison to most of Hopkins' victories.

Easily done. You compare their respective victories, longevity, ability, and achievements. Of course, when taking all of this into account, there can only really be one winner. I shouldn't have to tell you who that is.

It's non-comparable. I have Barrera in perspective. Morales fans have become totally out of control after the Cano win. It's like Cano was the second coming of Julio Cesar Chavez or some ****. The guy was a child fresh out of high school.

 

Sure your not just mad because Morales has earned more respect & is thought of as a greater fighter than your boy Barrera, Addie ?

Ps. Hopkins is the most overrated fighter of this era, great fighter ? yes... but not as great as Pacquiao, Mayweather, Jones, Morales or Barrera, who are IMO the top 5 fighters since Whitaker.

 

He's thought of as greater fighter by the General Forum, which virtually has no credibility at all when it comes to Boxing knowledge.

Hopkins has outdone Jones in an atg ranking sense, both Morales and MAB would be beneath Hopkins and Jones though and JMM beneath both Morales and MAB.

 

Stop with the BS please, Morales was a big favourite to beat Cano, only thing there was that he became a 4 weight champ (Mexico`s first) while doing it but he should have had that honour anyway as everybody knows he beat Diaz (it evens out ) if anything it was his previous performance vs Maidana that moved him up a notch in peoples eyes, not beating fkn Cano as he was expected to do... so stop mentioning Cano every chance you get in order to discredit what Morales did, we know he isn`t the 2nd coming of Chavez.
