Come on, Both Morales and Hop are ATG fighters, both very skilled. Thy're about the same, win over Pac, Barrera and much more exiting fights(Dozens of them too, not saying Hop didn't have any) won the vote.

 

It's ESB, Who knows how many alts there are, I made one while This account was banned, I'm willing to bet some posters have over 5 or 10 accounts each, It's all favoritism, but you gotta respect both fighters for their work on the squared circle, I like to watch highly skilled wars, like the many Morales fights, It's what got me into this sport. Without those kind of Fights Boxing wouldn't be the same.

 

hopkins has never been whooped because he uses ***** ass "veteran" tactics....in other words, he cheats......grabbing, rabbit punching, low blowing, clinching, crying, faking injuries etc etc......
if he would ever get called on his bull**** and was forced to fight (the way boxing should be), then he would've gotten whooped many times....

You say that like its bonus points in Hopkins favour, his division was terribly weak, he only stayed there because it was an easy ride, the guy should have been at LHW from the start... his first pro fight was at 175 but he lost so dropped down to fight the smaller men because he could make the weight... Morales was a top 2 or 3 all time 122 lber, once he was done there he stepped up to 126, then 130, then had a bash at 135, took a much needed break & is now at 140, five weights above his peak weight.

Morales has had a better career than Hopkins.

just cause bhops reign at middleweight was long, doesn't mean it was great...there's a huge reason he didnt make **** of money until oscar, and that's because there were no ****en names there...AT ALL !!!!

like i said, no one on his resume stacks up to the likes of manny, or barrera....if you take those names off of eriks resume, their resumes will still be pretty evenly matched...but those two names right there blow bhops resume out the ****en water.....
