Why does this always become a 'colour thing' .

If you really really watch Bernard his technique is off the scale it really is , but this is not the topic of the poll.

It is who is greater and Morales has fought and beaten better fighters in more exciting ways.

Bernard would have to have Jones I being an absolute classic, but he was schooled. Would need some big names on his middleweight reign who were not blown up welters , its not like Oscar was always going to move up to middle , he lost to Sturm clearly.

Then wins over howard eastman and Allen?

Losing twice to a pretty green Taylor goes to show that anybody with fast feet who could keep away from his grappling and headbutting , would have a good chance.

Bernard has been in there with four truely fast fighters and lost to all four , some say clearly , I do.

...and Pacquiao fans (since Morales has a win over him, and that can't be made to seem anything less than EXTRAORDINARY, can it?)

Likewise Jones and Calzaghe fans have to automatically pick Hopkins for the same reason. ;)

18 championships at weightclasses that aren't worth mentioning add to the fact that the Asians are pushing your **** in down there and your days in the sun are numbered.:deal
Lower weights? That's because blacks don't usually walk around the size of a ****ing 8th grader at 18 and under 130 pounds, we're not that small. We actually do actually grow you know.:yep I can easily say how come I don't see a Mexican above 160 worth a damn. What's wrong you can't get over the magic limit of 160 pounds?? Little man:lol::rofl:lol: The fact is Blacks have owned Mexicans in this sport and will continue to do so deal with it.:hi:

Again we can comb over Morales' resume in the same exact manner. His two biggest wins were razor close decisions and a sizable number feel he lost one of them (Barrera). The other, vs. Pacquiao, was just as much a win over a smaller fighter as any of the ones Hopkins gets criticized for.

140 and Below - Mexican rules

    140 - 175 - Mixture of all Nations

    175+ Blacks rule.

This is how I see it and therefore its pretty equal.

:patsch Who givesa a **** if YOU think they aren't worth mentioning. They still have that many. And are ttileholders and champs. And more importanty, they are champs in divisions their bodies fit into.

But since you say blacks don't walk around that small, tell us where all the black champs are in the higher divisions Pimp. Where are all they?

For someone who tries to pretend they love the sport and respects all fighters, rather then you just loving ONE FIGHTER , you sure go out of your way to show little respect to guys just because they are smaller, and mexican. So because they are smaller and in weights 'not worth mentioning' they aren't champs in your eyes? DOn't deservre respect?

You see pimp, this is why I don't take you serious. You try to act like YOU love the sweet science, you respect the sport and all. No, bottom line, you're just a floyd fanboy.

    :lol::lol:@all the racism

These days you see a lot of 'slick black' fighters and to be honest 'slick black' is just code for 'disgrace who has 0 heart' (Alexander, Dirrel, Judah 3 prime candidates) but in saying that fighters like Hopkins and Mayweather have proven themselves with their accomplishments and aint no mother****er going to tell me that a guy winning titles at age 46 lacks heart and similarly aint no one going to also tell me that a guy who's a 5 weight world champion and 42-0 also lacks heart.

I'm a Hopkins fan (shock horror) but i'll admit he's done a lot of **** in the ring that turns people away, his style was never all that attractive to regular boxing fans and his in ring antics pissed people off further but whatever he did it worked for him and his success proves that. Also his out of ring antics (i'll never lose to a white boy) and the flag incident just before the Tito fight were done to promote fights and anyone who thinks otherwise probably also believes Mike Tyson is still looking to eat Lennox Lewis's Children.

Now turn to Mayweather, another fighter getting shitted on but still despite his so called lack of heart and running he's 42-0 and arguably this generations greatest fighter along with Pacquiao.

Maybe these guys didn't show heart the way we would like to have seen it but the fact remains you don't win championships late in your 40's and become a champion at so many different weight classes without heart.

Floyd Mayweather once said 'there's nothing cool about taking punishment' and love him or hate him he's right, maybe it's cool to see a nice tear up in the middle of the ring but the long term effects of head and body shots can be devestating ask Meldrick Taylor i'm sure he'll get a credit for having 'heart' and as good a boxer as he was how many people are putting him in ATG lists?

The genuine warriors out there like a Morales or a Barrera or a Vasquez are loved for the way they fight but no one should be hating on elite level fighters like a Hopkins or a Mayweather just because they choose to take a more technical approach to fighting (or because they're black :lol:)
