Whos greater Julio Cesar Chavez or Roberto Duran?

    who do you think is greater and why?

    My opinion Duran due to his Run at lightweight,win over Leonard,beating Barkley when everyone thought he was shot and he was more skilled imo

    Duran. He was a better fighter who beat better fighters over a longer span of time and more weight divisions. There's no serious argument for Chavez.

    I think Duran beats any lightweight in the modern era.I'll bet there are opponents pre-1980 who still have nightmares about him.Got to be Duran despite Chavez's greatness.

    Duran won titles in more weights & has the single best win (Leonard)

    I don`t think there is as much between them as most seem to think but Duran has the edge.

    I have Duran 6th on my top 10 p4p list, I have Chavez 10th.
