Loma doesn't have corrupt judges, athletic commissions, PED and carefully selected matchmaking. Clenelo is largely smoke and mirrors and there too many asterisks next to his name. Put it this way. If Loma just had even half the favoritism that Clenelo gets with the judges he would still be an undefeated fighter. Salido, Lopez, and Haney were all closer than some of the fights Clenelo has been gifted.

Was thinking this. I think what effects their legacies is that in Lomachenkos career he didn't get the nods in the close fights, while in Canelos he always got the close decisions or draw

    Loma is greater! No question!

Vasyl has never got popped for PED’s or needed corrupt judging to win fights or secure ‘draws’

Just for fun here's a biased IMHO: I like Loma but Canelo's "greatness" in my community is much more than just being a boxer. His fights are events with lots of food, family, music, and etc. Bringing people together, having a good time, and gaining more fans for the sport then any fighter I've seen in my 50 years of watching. Canelo's more than just a boxer to many many people and it's going to be a shame when he retires.

Isn't achievement , the only measurement of the caliber of boxer in question ?

Loma's a good little fighter, but compared to Canelo, come on now.

There's enough negative around Canelo, but he's 2 years younger than Lomachenko, having three times more professional fights and top opponents. Who's the better fighter - can't tell, they're similar in height, but very different in weight - I am saying that because theoretically, this would be a great fight.

Not necessarily. For example I could say John Ruiz achieved more than Ike Ibeabuchi, but Ike was the greater fighter.

Achievement trumps everything else and is the only viable measurement of a boxer. We can have opinions about a boxer abilities but at the end of the day, facts cannot be refuted.
