Jones is ahead 2 to 1 in polling and rightfully so. I'd pick jones over my favorite fighter Ray Leonard at similar weight. So G.D. fast, hardly human.

You do realise the RJJ has been a pro since the late 80s right?

If Floyd fights on until his mid 40s it wouldnt shock me to see him end up like Roy too

Toney was in the top #3 P4P and he didn't even win a single round against Roy. VERY underrated win. Fact is, the Toney and Hopkins scalps on Roy's resume pretty much trump anything Floyd has done.

Even though its at the tail end its still a part of their career. If you are comparing one's career to another's esp. since Floyd and Roy are both still fighting, then everything should be incorporated.

Marquez and Corrales was similary ranked at the time Floyd fought them. They didn't win a round either. I don't think either of them landed double digits in any round.

I dont know how people can pick either fighter by a large margin. prime for prime roy looked unbeatable. Mayweather did too but his fight with JLC kinda took a little of that aura away. Roy is the most athletically gifted fighter of all time, Floyd is on par with Pep and Whitaker with defense, also more skilled even now than roy was in his prime. Their resume's are what they are, they both beat REALLY GOOD and a couple of great fighters. I simply just couldnt ignore the fact that Roy is bringing his legacy down continuing to fight and get knocked out by fighters he would have molliwhopped in his prime. Not to mention the failed drug test. However Roy beating Ruiz at heavyweight cant be taken lightly. Mayweather by a hair for me.

Marquez was coming up from 130 and Corrales never saw a jab that his face wasn't only too happy to meet.

    Toney @ 168, Hopkins @ 160 > Marquez @ 147, Corrales @ 130.

    Is this even a question?

Roy Jones outsmarted Toney...used lateral movement to completely neutralize the shoulder roll. He outjabbed a bigger John Ruiz. He was incredibly skilled. People who reduce his greatness to just being athletic are being intentionally dishonest.
