    Harder for me to say.
If Jones had someone like Hagler or Duran to fight, he may have beaten the,. He was just unlucky that there wasnt that many superstars around in his era. He just happened to be miles better than the guys he fought.

Toney,Hopkins and few iother wins are still quite impressive.

no competition. Jones lacks the opposition Leonard had. Ray looked to fight the best in his younger years.

Makes me laugh how so many people are 100% sure they are right and disregard anybody elses view.

RJJ's resume stinks, but he didn't duck anybody, he fought what was available (with a few exceptions, none of whom were in his league anyway) Take a look at RJJ v Toney and then completely disregard him as being 'Greater' than anybody!! RJJ can stand alonsgide any of the greats in history including SRL imo. You can pick anybody apart. E.g Leonard would've soundly lost to Hearns if fights were 12 rounds, he deffo lost the rematch. I'd have them both top 10 all time, but to disregard either is just stupid!

Leonard only beat Duran, Hagler, Hearns and Benitez. Anyone can do that.

Another spin could be that he lost to Duran I (fact) Hearns II (unless blind) and Hagler (debatable) ;)

    That all you got :?

What part of my posts is funny and untrue?

I bet after RJJ beat Ruiz you still thought this was a laughable comparison. We are talking about primes, try to forget that Jones losts after pissing around at HW and remember what he was like in his PRIME

that RJJ is top 10 all time :nut

and Hearns would've beat Leonard over 12 :nut you think Leonard would've fought the same way in a 12-rounder as he would have in a 15-rounder?

on RJJ , yes, because my brain is able to see that the losses to Tarver and Johnson were not the same RJJ that dominated in the nineties. It's the same as I don't think Ali was overrated becuase he lost to Berbwick.

And Ref Leaonard, I guess his strategy was to get beaten to the punch and completely outboxed for 12 rounds, so he could chnage the fight in the 13th, it was all part of a master plan. That remark from you deserves your own favourite little picture

But is that the only way you judge a guys greatness.

If Ali was just as good as he ever was. The EXACT same fighter, but he didnt have Frazier and Foreman in his era,w9ould that make him a lesser fighter??
