    Wladimir by a long mile.

Tyson was exciting but he fought in the worst era of heavy weight boxing, once the fighters got good Tyson got his ass kicked.

And that's why he won't go down greater than Tyson.

You saw what C. Sanders did to him. Just imagine what Tyson would have done in his youthful prime.

    No.

One's well inside the top 10 and the other, well...isn't.

Could change, but for now, Mike.

    Clearly.

Props to Wlad, he has turned into a great fighter under Manny Steward.
The jab, the right hand, the hook, footwork, dominance, etc. However
Tyson particularly at his peak/prime was in my opinion a one in a million
type of fighter/athlete. Tyson was born to fight and was a prodigy
showcasing phenomenal power, speed, chin, and defense A prime
motivated focus Tyson could beat any heavyweight ever. He ranks
much higher than Wlad H2H and higher legacy wise. Mike's 80s
title run was legendary: youngest heavyweight champ, undisputed
undefeated, unified lineal champ by 22 I believe. Tyson captivated
the world and was one of the biggest draws in sports history, I
cant even watch a damn Wlad fight on cable, and I wish I could
cause I am a fan. Even if Wlad retires with the most title defenses,
hell never be as talented or special as Iron Mike. If my avatar was
a picture of Wlad Id say the same. If you were to ask any elite
boxer, trainer, insider, etc. Prob 99% would say Tyson. Wlad
is very talented and an ATG, but Mike is a living legend.

I was never a fan of Iron Mike but like the other Mike (who I never really liked as well) of the same era you knew you where witnessing greatness. ABSOLUTELY no event had the electricity of a Tyson Fight, not the Super Bowl, the World Cup or March Madness. Mike was something special a force of nature. Wlad is a high tide to Tyson's tsunami. The closest event that could a Tyson fight was the 100m final at the Olympic Games.

Tyson. Mike Tyson is more famous,a more exciting and interesting character for the sport, wasn't KO'd 3 times before age 35, wasn't a giant with a giant brother to help take off some of the pressure and Mike was only 19 and 20 when he did his thing.

That being said Wlad is a very good champ and he isn't done yet so who knows.

Right now, Tyson just by a TINY BIT. . . But Tyson is one of hte most overrated boxers in the history of the sport. . . The only name on his resume that stands out as a primed, legitimate win is Spinks. . Who was so mentally weak - he was scared shitless of Tyson. . And what? Like a 40 year old, shop worn, shot to ****, Holmes? Aside from those two guys, everytime he stepped up past the B level, he got CRUNCHED, and THUMPED. .

I don't rate "what he could have done, or who he could have beat," if you take Tyson from like 3 years of his career. . I swear, the dude has the "shortest prime" of all time.

Right now, I got Tyson around 18th, or so. . And Wladimir right around 20-25. . . 2 more years of Wlad fighting 2-3 times a year, and defending his lineal championship, he will EASILY SURPASS Tyson.
