Pacquiao at 135lbs or Mayweather at 147lbs?

I think Mayweather has a decent, stinging quality to his punches, but that his accuracy moreso than his power has resulted in his KOs at welter.

The easiest way to work this out would be to compare Pac against contenders at 130 and Mayweather against the respective competition at 147. Pac's power is no doubt diminishing as he moves up, but he still scored a knock down against Marquez, and you could easily see him scoring a KO over any other contender, Guzman aside

I'm not sure where the KO's would be coming for Floyd. Couldn't move Baldomir an inch, although his chin is solid. Or Judah, who is not so solid. I don't see him knocking out Williams, Margarito, Mosley or Cotto...

No idea. Lets see Pacquiao fight at 135 first.

    Most likely Pacquiao.

This is commical first off Pacs never even had a fight at 135 and who exactly has he KOed at 130 besides weight drained, shot Morales with grandpa legs ? Mayweather brutally KOed the best 140 pounder in the world Ricky Hatton who never been KOed before. Even Mayweather at 130 was a bigger puncher then Pacquiao him stopping his toughest opponets is proof like Manfredy,Chavez and Corrales.

We can only project, and I project that Pac has more pop at 135lbs than Mayweather does at 147lbs. Now, put Pac at 140lbs, and I would then favor Mayweather.

Mayweather being a bigger puncher at 130lbs is immaterial, he is the bigger fighter. And his KO of Hatton was as much due to timing and Hatton not seeing the punch as it was power.

You can have all the timing if you want if the punch didnt have heat on it then Hatton doesnt go down unless hes pure trash as a fighter which he isnt. Your not making sense you basically admitted that with Mayweather being the bigger fighter he has more power then Pacquiao when they where at 130 but now with Floyd at 147 and Pac at 135 when he hasnt even fought there has more power :huh Is this p4p ? Cause if it is then you need to clearify that. Mayweathers power is very underatted atleast from 130-135 he could punch he just isnt like Pacquiao he isnt very agressive.

No, its a matter of who carried (or will carry if speaking of Pac) his one punch power better to their respective weight class.

Mayweather isn't a fighter that comes to mind at all for me when I think if one punch power, but rather a sharp puncher who can get guys out by attrition. Pac on the other hand still has one punch pop, although not as much.

in his defense, he was on his way to stopping Judah before the 10th round low blow and subsequent riot.

I don't think you guys are confusing one punch KO power with accumulation.

Yet he sat down on at least a dozen straight right hands that Hatton ate like there was no tommorow. It wasn't until Hatton got hit with something he didn't see that he went down.
