    I think Cotto has a better legacy, but Martinez is the better fighter, and is better p4p.

    maybe i should've asked differently....

    i was arguing with a martinez nuthugger who has him at p4p number 2....i argued that he hasn't even beat anyone as good as cotto yet, so it should still be floyd, manny, ward, donaire, marquez...then maybe sergio....should, mares should get a shot too, he has an amazing resume so far....then cottos resume came into play and he started hating on cotto and whatnot......reason why i ended up asking here :lol:

    Wha? He beat the great Julio Cesar Chavez, Jr! :deal :yep

    Really though, beating a pair of top middleweights in Macklin and Junior most recently was definitely a step up from what he did the previous year fighting the likes of Dzinzurik and Barker (who actually showed some decent skill) after a great 2010 (UD12 Pavlik, KO2 Williams).

    It's time to bring Golovkin or Geale up next year, though.
