    1. Holyfield-

He beat the following Lineal HW World Champs-

    Douglas KO3, Foreman W12, Holmes W12, Bowe W12, Tyson W11 and WDQ3, Moorer KO8, Rahman WTD8... 7 Lineal HW Champs, 8 wins.

He also had a draw with Lineal HW Champ Lewis... 8-3-1 (3) vs. Lineal HW Champs. No other fighter in the history of this great sport has had this many wins over Lineal HW Champs. The losses are to Bowe x2 and Lewis. As mentioned above, he beat Bowe. He drew with Lewis.

He also beat these HW World title belt holders-

Thomas KO7, Dokes KO10, Mercer (WBO) W10, Ruiz W12 (also L12 and D12), and Botha KO8... 5-1-1 (3) vs. these fighters... 13-4-2 (6) combined with his total vs. Lineal HW Champs.

He beat these Hall of Famers-

Foreman W12, Holmes W12, Tyson KO11 and WDQ3, he also beat Qawi W15 and KO4 (Holyfield and Foreman were the only fighters able to stop Qawi). Lewis is also a Hall of Famer... 6-1-1 (2) vs. Hall of Famers.

People tend to look at what he did past the age of 30, or even 40, or even 45 way too much. When he turned 30 he was 28-0 (22) overall, 10-0 (7) in World Title Fights, and 4-0 (1) vs. Hall of Famers. Unfortunately he had not faced the likes of Bowe or Lewis yet. I honestly feel that prime vs. prime Holyfield beats Bowe and Lewis more times than not.

Holyfield moved up to HW in 1988 and starting fighting good fighters right away:

Tillis KO5- former HW title challenger, he had also went the 10 round distance vs. Tyson and held his own... remember, Tyson was the HW champ at the time

Thomas KO7- former WBC HW Champ, ranked in top 10, was stopped in 6 rounds by Tyson in his previous fight

Dokes KO10- former WBA HW Champ, ranked in top 5, was going to fight Tyson had he won

Rodrigues KO2- decent fighter, good win

Stewart KO8- good win, Stewart was 24-0 (24), Holyfield beat Stewart in a rematch as well W12

Douglas KO3- wins the Lineal HW Title and the IBF, WBA, and WBC belts.

Foreman W12- former 2x Lineal HW champ and a Hall of Famer

Cooper KO7- good win vs. a very inspired tough fighter, Holyfield got dropped for the first time

Holmes W12- former Lineal HW Champ and a Hall of Famer

Bowe L12, W12, LKOby8- Bowe was a Lineal HW Champ and WBO HW Champ

Moorer L12 and KO8- Moorer was a Lineal HW Champ, a 2x IBF HW champ, and a WBO HW Champ

Mercer W10- former WBO HW Champ, Mercer dropped for the first time

Tyson KO11 and WDQ3- former Lineal HW Champ, 2x WBA and WBC HW Champ, and Hall of Famer

Lewis D12 and L12- former 2x Lineal Champ, 3x WBC HW Champ, and Hall of Famer

    Also:

    Ruiz W12, L12, D12- former 2x WBA HW Champ

Rahman WTD8- former Lineal HW Champ, 2X WBC HW Champ

Botha KO8- former IBF HW Champ (until the NC)

He also beat former LHW and CW World title holder Bobby Czyz at HW, KO5.

*At 137 years old he should have won the WBA belt from Valuev, that should count for something.

I just want to say one thing...The only way to be historically fair, here, is to count Holy's "cruiserweight" scalps as heavyweight scalps.

At CW he went 18-0 (14) overall and 6-0 (5) in World title Fights. He didn't fight a bunch of bums on his way up either. He beat Tyrone Booze, Anthony Davis, Chisanda Mutti, and others prior to winning his first World title belt at CW.

He beat Hall of Famer Qawi x2 W15 and KO4. He also beat World title holders:

Booze (WBO) W8, DeLeon KO8, Ocasio KO11, and Parkey KO3. He went 6-0 (4) vs. CW World title holder... he also has 13 wins, 2 draws, and 6 KO wins by KO vs. HW World title holders... add the win over Czyz...

...20 wins, 2 draws, and 11 wins by KO vs. World Title Holders total!!! Sure, he lost to some guys who were world title holders when he was a million years old but that should not tarnish his overall standing.

Tillman was also a decent fighter when Holyfield beat him, KO7.

H2H, I do rank a prime Holmes just a ***** hair above Holyfield. I rank a prime (first HW World Title Reign) Holyfield above the likes of Foreman, Louis, Marciano, Frazier, Tyson, Lewis, Bowe, Liston, and others H2H.

    2. Holmes
    3. Lewis
    4. Liston... come on, he only beat 1 guy who was ever a World Champ. He beat him badly, he beat him twice, KO1 x2 over Patterson. He was beat by Ali x2. He also beat Machen, Folley, and Williams among others... not much else to be honest... but I do consider him great.

I would probably give Lewis an edge over Holmes here, though.

Holyfield did not have a 'draw' with Lennox.

Second fight was closer to being a draw than the first "real" draw.

    How did that happen?!:yikes
