Who's Is British That is Supporting Kotelnik over Kahn?

i think kotelnik will knock khan out, but i'll be supporting the brit as always. i just hope a genuine khan victory is not downplayed if it happens because this is a proper tough challenge imo.

 

Trust me, even if Khan dominates in super fashion people will always make an excuse.

Possible excuses: Whos Kotelnik what has he achieved, the man who beat Rees, WBA fake world title, Kotelnik is old, others will say this guy his a nobody SO and SO will knock him out, im not convinced this guy was too slow for Khan, this is a set up Warren picks the easy fights...

 

well already a lot of people are predicting an easy khan victory and saying he is only moving up to fight kotelnik in order to avoid more challenging matchups at lightweight...so yes, i agree with you there.

I can see why people dont like Khan and I never used to at all. I know Barrera was past his best but I felt he deserved some respect for taking the fight and he definately gets my respect for taking this fight. I hope he does well and like Jack Dempsey (Surely too old by now ) i'll be trying to be there to cheer him on

 

If Ortiz was fighting Kotelnik would people be saying it was an easy pick for him too, as that is being said for Khan?

Now Im no khan hater, I have stuck up for him many times here. However, Barrera was old & fat when he faced Khan. That cannot be denied. Also, the fight should have been stopped immediately after Barrera received that awful cut & should have been declared a no contest, but mr hometown homeboy himself Dave Parris let the fight go on just enough to let Khan get the W on the scorecards.
It was a horrible nights boxing, & unlike your good self I cannot be angry at people who class that fight as a joke, cos thats what it was.

I say again, I am no Khan hater, but I hated that fight.

Kahn gets my suport. He is represnting Britain after all.
But i do find it difficult to get exited about the kid. Dont know why-Audley? Hype? Style?Chin? Then Prescott. Got to admire the way the lads come back after such a devastating defeat and his work ethic is unquestionable.He is growing on me.
I remember feeling this way before Jim Mcdonald fought Azumah-by no means a comparrison by the way- prob because Ithought he would get chinned early and I was a Mcguigan fan. But by the halfway stage i was shouting and willing Jimmy Mac on and was gutted for him come the end.
I will be supporting Kahn cos he's a brit. But wont be getting excited.
