I like Khan as a person, he seems a nice kid but I think all the fame came too early for him which is why he sometimes sounds a bit stupid with some of the things he says.

As a boxer, whats not to like? He's in exciting fights....

People are putting too much pressure on him and will deem him a failure if he doesn't become the worlds greatest boxer, I wont. He's good to watch and my only gripe is the fact he was on PPV.
The flip side of this was the undercard of his last fight-terrific night of boxing.

Hate is wasted time and energy, people should try focus their time and energy on better things.

Isn't that the case with most sportsmen in Britain?
Too much fame and money early in their career and unrealistic expectations.

I want Khan to beat Kotelnik.

Not because he's British, not because I'm a massive Khan fan. But because we need someone to keep the interest in boxing which Hatton and Calzaghe sparked among casual sports fans. Froch, Haye and Khan can do that. But only while they are succesful. I'm not sold on Froch being a long term champion yet so we need as many people as possible to succeed from Britain to try to keep the sport in the forefront of people's minds.

If this happens, then it will get more coverage. More airtime. And we get more entertainment!

Khan is one of many fighters I want to see win for no other reason than for the good of the sport on our shores.

Can't say I'm fussed. Good luck to both -- I hope for a good fight.

i want kotelnik to win - he stands for better things

Disrespectful against a humble champion? Somebody doesn't do much thinking with there head do they...

I suppose it's different for Kotelnik because he's saying stuff you agree with, christ some people's bias on here is a joke. He's about as humble as PBF.

I think he is just speaking reality there

the difference between waht Kotelnik says and what Khans says

    is

Kotelnik says things that are the way they are

    like

    He is a World Champion

Khan has done nothing to prove he belongs in a ring for a world title (i think thats a fair comment even though Khan might prove up to the job he has been exposed at a lower level)

with Khan its all the hype of what he is going to be......

going to be a mutliple world champion...........

going to be a pound for pound great............

going to be a hollywood superstar..............

    going to be.............

going to be the youngest British World champion..........

going to the Olympics in 2008 to win Gold not silver............

    going to be....................

    thats what hype is

    but reality is

Khan who has only really won a commonwealth champion of note in pro boxing

now stepping up to fight a world champion who feels bullish about beating Khan

Sometimes I support fighters primarily because they are British, but usually I go for the fighter I prefer. I like Kotelnik's toughness and consistency over Khan's speed :good

    Supporting Khan all the way

Half the criticisms he receives are ridiculous (like Flint's above), people WANT to dislike him and wilfully twist his words, IMO
