Who's it gonna be? Pavlik or Taylor?

and i think you have a little "skeet" as brains...if your saying im a pavlik fan then yes i am..also i know him very well..your also saying your a taylor nut hugger so thats great

 

I'm really surprised by the number of people on this thread who predict, or at least talk about, a UD for one or the other. The last Pavlik fight to go the distance was an 8 rounder on 11-27-2004. Kelly is going into this rematch with the momentum of 9 consecutive knock outs. Even if my prediction of JT going for an early ko, and Pavlik taking him out in 5, is wrong, this fight will not go the distance. If JT tries to fight smart and box his way to a decision, he'll just get tortured for a few extra rounds. He'll get pavlikated in 10.

I almost never say this, but I would bet all my Money on Pavlik to whip taylor again.

I dont see how this fight can end any other way than it did the first time, the 6 lbs will only give Pavlik more punching power and more muscle in the abs to take a punch.

Unless taylor learns to keep his hands up and move like sugar ray leonard...

Boo, he wasnt getting tortured in the first fight, even though the Ghost was walking him down, Taylor was boxing well from the outside, and regardless of the haters, was winning on the cards including nearly ending it in the 2nd. In my humble oppinion, if Taylor keeps his hands up, and boxes smart, he could get the nod, or even KO the glass jawed Pavlik. Ok not a glass jaw, but he is chinny.

 

you're both being dumb.. neither of these two are chinny. They've both taken some bombs and kept coming.

 

Go over to youtube and look up the post fight interview. It's in 3 parts and very interesting. The most revealing part is what Steward said about why he told Jermain he was losing the fight. I'm not a hater either. I like JT, and really wish he had taken a tune up or two instead of jumping back in with Pavlik.

He didnt have his hands down, i get so sick of everyone defending Pavliks knockdown saying he was being cocky and dropped his hands. Nate Campbell dropped his hands, Pavlik, not so much. the chinny comment was just to rile people up, so settle down girlfriend. :yep

i watched it again, i only see pavlik get whacked, stick his tongue out, then get dropped. to many excuses for kelly, he went down fair and square, and jermain blew his load trying to finish it, but forgot about the uppercut. and ray charles and stevie wonder are blind boo, they cant see ****! :hey

 

Dont get me wrong, i like both guys, but ESB posters have made me want to see Pavlik lose.

Kelly has to many exscuses.. What does JT have. I blew all my stamina, i forgot an uppercut, i should of won, i didnt have enough sparring partners, i need a new ring man. He is a whinny baby who is going to get dropped again. I saw kelly at media day and he is looking amazing hand speed faster and hitting harder then ever. If JT goes past 4 i will be impressed. This is the fight that shows KP invinciblity puting him top 3 P4P. 166 is more natural for kelly. U will see a faster stronger kelly.
