In Terms Of The Brutality, Mental Damage (Recovery Of Boxer Physically & Mentally), and Boxing World Impact...

    Miguel Cotto
    or
    Jermain Taylor?

Can't judge mental damage yet. Gotta see Cotto in his next fight . . . but Jermain recovered rather well if you ask me. Better than I had imagined he would.

I think Miguel Cotto's was far more brutal. Have you seen screenshots from the fight late into the last 2 rounds? Cotto's face is mashed.

Margarito just took away his invincible aura in a heartbeat and I was sad for Cotto.

It wasn't just more brutal, Cotto was regarded much higher than Taylor at the time. Sure, he beat Hopkins, but people were still critical about him. Cotto was THE ****.

I think that is why it was more brutal. That shouldn't have been happening to the likes of Miguel Cotto.

He was getting bullied, battered, and bruised.

i think cotto was a little worse ,most people could see a loss coming for jermain soon. just because of the lack of enthusiasm he had been showing in the ring. miguel was on top of the world,i hope he can bounce back
