:huhMakes no sense? Just an indication of whom I'm discussing this topic with. Let me explain.....A fighter...any fighter has an "ideal" weight class. Where he is able to get the very most out of his natrual abilities and attributes...FOR MOST...if not all. A fighter hits a wall when moving up or down in weight that is out of their comfort zone....for Ricky that division was WW. WW for Ricky causes him to loose the power that was prevalent at Jr WW...the speed although limited is even more limited at a higher weight. I'm not sure but I thought that was evident. Ricky lost to a better fight....just as did JMM when facing Floyd...but they both fought Floyd at HIS weight class where is most effective and not in their own weight class where they would have had a better chance at winning. You are talking about weight, but fail to realize that boxing is made up of different divisions.....there's a reason why fighters tend to stay at certain weights where they are most comfortable...it's b/c they know where they will get the very most of their abilities. Common sense brah.:good
Yea....defintely just a LITTLE more devastating....just like Floyd's skills against Ricky was just a LITTLE more prevalent than Mannys.
I say floyds was simply because he was the first to beat him and knock him out n i believe that plays on ya mental
Pac imo. I was worry for Hatton after that shot landed. I was pretty sure that was Hatton's last fight, period. With Mayweather, yeah it was good, but I didnt have the same worry as I did vs Pac. I felt Hatton was going to be ok.
