One's aspiring to be a legend, the other for a record.

As of now, anything could happen to their own directions, one is going here

and there so which one would would last in history books assuming they are

    both retired now?

It's not an either or. It doesn't matter, just because their weight classes crossed paths toward the end of each other's careers.

That's funny because a lot of people wanted to see floyd fight oscar, hatton, mosley. The only one you could say they didn't want to see is marquez yet that fight still did over a million more than cotto v margo.

mega fight ....not mega hype...yeah the 4 times he has fought in 4 years? no one gives him credit for the first 2, DLH and Hatton was the draw, any moron knows that.....

they sell alot because the dick head fights once a year and they buy into a false fight......and they are desperate for any , ANY big time boxing.
fight a legit threat that people give a **** about and you could possibly do 1.5 - 1.8 for just 1 fight..... but no you have to have balls to do that...or as you would say, a good business man to not do it

On top of a great legacy, If he doesn't fight Pacquiao that will be a good chunk of his legacy people will talk about. And I'm telling you history will not be kind to Floyd in this regard.

Pacquiao has fought opponents that was usually favored over him. Floyd fought opponents most viewers knew Floyd could beat.

Yeah because Pac was the underdog for Diaz,Cotto,Hatton,Clottey and Margarito_Oscar is the only most recent one.

Both legacies will last...I don't see why people should have to choose.

Pacquiao is going for his 8th World Title in a different weight class.
Mayweather has picked up World Titles in 5 different weight classes.

These are stats that won't be forgotten, because it takes special boxers to achieve it.

I do however believe the catchweight fights will ebcome a point where pac will get critiseized a lot about when he is done
