Let' see: IBF: champ W.Klitschko, tournament: Chambers, Brock, Byrd, Povetkin WBC: champ Maskaev, mandatory Peter, champ emeritus V. Klitschko, next mandatory McCall WBA: champ-in-recess Chagaev, tournament winner Valuev-Bergeron, Lyakhovich, Ruiz, Bidenko and maybe Williamson WBO: champ Ibragimov, voluntary Holyfield, mandatory Thompson That's a whoppin 19 involved fighters (20 if you count Vitali-warm-up McCline). This will most surely put any unification on hold in the foreseeable future. There are (not surprising) many undeserving fighters on this list, but IMO at least the top 8 are in the game. But who's missing in this picture? Which "better-than-Bidenko-boxer" deserves a shot?
Let it go already, you're probably the only person who wouldn't complain if Klitschko announced he was going to defend his belt vs. Briggs.........................
Post of the Day:rofl :rofl :rofl By the way, Danny Batchelder is demanding a rematch to completely whip Toney this time so there is no questions asked on the judges score cards.
Juan Carlos Gomez if he keeps active should be fighting for a world title. The guys a former cruiserweight Champion and 48-1-0 IMO he'd beat Ibragimov, Chagaev and Maskaev the ony guy who I think would trouble Gomez id Wlad becuase of his power and size, but wouldnt suprise me if gomez could outbox him!
