I understand the competition gap but I'm not seeing any showcases or sequences of elusiveness that showcases skill that's close to Floyd's ability to not get hit. Wilfred seems he can keep distance good but is so open and easily timed when he decides to open up against opponents.
:huh I don't understand you. This is the second post you've made where your information is ass backwards. Even in the highlight posted before (two were posted, but both were the exact same, so someone's getting copyright charges on Youtube), the vast majority of the footage took place in close range/with Wilfred against the ropes. Maintaining distance wasn't even a thought. It was about slipping punches in the pocket and countering in range. Not even especially good highlights, though, if you ask me. Some of that footage wasn't even highlight worthy. Why not watch some full fights? Or is watching highlights how you attain your wonderful analytical skills?
I could also have said Castillo. It's the quality of the opposition I was emphasizing. Anyway, the Cobra's post is the correct analysis here.
http://youtu.be/_Ct2jCu7y9Y Managed to find a vid that showcases Benitez. Wish I could change my vote but Floyd has overall better D.
