Whos more of a threat in the heavy weight division today?

    Ortiz been a heavy weight longer had wilder hurt in the first fight almost stopped him . outboxed wilder in the second before eating the canvas ortiz has more power than usyk as well



    Usyk has only fought witherspoon at heavy weight. But is younger , has better stamina volume and lighter.

    Both are highly skilled but as time passes Usyk will be more of a threat if he`s not already, just have to se if he can take a solid heavyweight punch.

    Usyk. Easily.

    Ortiz was a threat to Wilder. Every other elite HW beats him. The likes of Rivas beat him. Catastrophically overrated. Actually, Usyk has beaten FOUR fighters who should be favoured over Ortiz. Briedis, Hunter, Gassiev and Bellew. Usyk himself would highlight just how stuck in the mud Ortiz's feet are.

    Ortiz is not a threat anymore at all. He's not getting any other title shot and, if he's lucky, he'll have a couple of low-attention fights more before retiring. Usyk is in his prime and is arguably the most skilled boxer in the division.

    Usyk is currently unproven at heavyweight against any competent competition . Until I see him fight somebody I have to go with Ortiz.

    The 65 year old Luis Ortiz has already shown his hand. He looked considerably worse last time out.

    I like Luis Ortiz and I'm glad he got a nice chunk of change. He should see how his next bout goes and consider the bigger picture.

    Ortiz, the manufactured monster
    Decent skills yet some carry on like he is super slick
    He's really not

    He wasnt even a big deal in the Cuban amateurs

    No good wins, am i hell counting Jennings

    Uysk has so much more potential based on whats been seen so far

    Ortiz is also unproven. His best win is Jennings. Usyk has much better wins Gassiev, Hunter, Huck, Briedis and Glowatsky.
    Some of them already fought at HW.
    Gassiev is around 220 on a fight night.
