Tyson for certain. Tyson is a pop culture icon, DLH will never approach that status.

tyson for sure but oscar's popularity for a lower weight fighter is off the scale and when he stops fighting (no matter what you think of his 'mega-fights'), boxing is going to miss him because when he fights boxing becomes mainstream again..if only for one night.

from that standpoint at least, it's nice to dream that david haye could clean out the heavies, because that's the only marketable option i can see that could replace oscar's popularity on the general masses.

Tyson is. Though people have never even seen him they know him by name as the last heavyweight superstar. The guy had his own Nintendo game. Oscar didn't.

It's Tyson. Oscar was, and still is, a homo. Acts like one outside the ring, fights like one inside it.

Mike Tyson without question. When he was champ in the 80's - everyone everywhere talked about him. He is part of pop culture.

Oscar De La Hoya conducts himself as a champion inside the ring and a gentleman outside the ring. The best his detractors can do is make up falsehoods in attempts to besmirch his image.
