Ward I feel is much more skillful then Bradley. Both are great fighters, don't get me wrong, but there are a few things that Ward does on a higher level then Bradley:

- His Jab is far better then Bradley's.
- He throughts a greater veriaty of punches.
- His inside work is also a little higher level. He doesn't need to hold as much to step up his position and punches. He also throws shorter shots as well.
- Obviously he can fight from the southpaw stance.
- He's faster
- Finally his left hook is much more versile

 

Ward by a distance.

I can't think of anything that Bradley does better. Ward is quicker, harder to hit, has a more varied offence and can fight equally well on the outside and the inside.

Bradley hits harder but he doesn't have real power either. He's more dangerous with his head, I guess.

Bradley doesnt have any apparent weaknesses. But thats where the comparability ends. Bradley dont have any dominant strengths though. Ward does. While Bradley has more power by weight, Ward has more speed by weight. Speed enables him to employ his versatile technique much more effectively than Bradley's power.

The most dominant feature for Ward is his mental strength. To tell you the truth, Froch is the first high caliber fighter who didnt get mentally broke by Ward, which speaks alot of his own fighting spirit. By the 5th round and on, Ward basically breaks down and mentally dominates his opponent. He'll start pushing and pinning up against the ropes (that did happen to Froch, but he had enuf will to spin out most of the time).

His speed, accuracy, reflexes, and timing deters, dismays, and discourages his opponents. In this way, he is a great "control boxer", as Mayweather is. But while Mayweather is a passive one, Ward is an aggressive & dominant one - pushing forward like a pressure fighter. Doing this works to mentally break down an opponent even more.

Ward is DOMINANT in phoneboothing & "dirtyboxing". Yeah, even Froch admitted in the post-fight interview that he wasnt used to fighting in "that close".

Mixed with his speed, accuracy, and reflexes, he's a dominant boxer from the Outside and with his mental strength, toughness, and craftiness, a dominant fighter in the inside. The only way to have a decent chance against him is to exchange in the middle grounds with him. He looks to lessen that positioning because that is where a person can get hurt easily...

watching the ward froch fight reminded me of bradley.

bradley n ward have a very similar style and no tim bradley is not similar to rjj as he actually has proper skill and does not rely heavily on his natural talent.
