Usyk is probably more skilled overall but Fury is very skilled also, especially for his height. So I would say Fury is more special / unique, but Usyk is technically more skilled. Fury does get a little sloppy at times when he doesn’t feel like he’s at risk.

Usyk and it's not even close.
He has really great stamina, great pedigree, can shift, fight textbook, change angles, feint, has a great chin, very fast hands and great footwork, mentally very strong and respectable power.

Tyson is special for his size, but there is nothing what he does better than usyk.

They are both very skilled, but I would definitely lean towards Usyk, but I think, because of the size difference that Fury would win if they ever come to fight. Would like to be proved wrong though, Usyk has achieved a lot in the Cruiserweight division, and I can only hope he’s involved in some great fights at heavyweight.

The answer should be Usyk. He has to make up more ground with a high guard style to get inside ,this requires more skill.

Fury has a 85 inch reach and doesn't work as hard bc he doesn't have to.

We all get a SEMI preview of this fight Saturday night with the similar style Wallin who is also a southpaw / high guard volume puncher working off non stop jabs with very good footwork and hand speed that fires back off counters . Wallin and Usyk cut corner/angles very similar to,this could be good fight if Wallin can figure out Fury just enough. Im expecting that fight to go 12 ,in what will be a surprising better fight then most expect. Fury did look very sharp today ,I think he knows its a real fight and looks to be leaner for this one.

Fury vs Usyk ?Really see it going the same as the Wallin fight ,a competitive 12 rounder where fury maintains just enough to win OR win most rounds in some tight exchanges .

IF ( a big IF) Wallin wins 5 rounds maybe I change my mind here? And give Usyk an edge being the better fighter. As I stated before though don't sleep on Wallin, hes not a dope looking for a payday and he comes with size to whos been in with the whos who behind the scenes ,I think that fight on Saturday can be used as a blue print in this one.

I think Usyk would figure him out and score a few flash knockdowns.Fury would be out to stink the joint out against Usyk.

“but he can’t hang with the heavys”

And you’re basing that off what exactly? The fact he schooled guys like Joyce and Nistor in the WBSS?? Or the fact he put it on Wlad in sparring?? What exactly?

Usyk, not only is he more skilled, but he's also more versatile. You have to take into consideration the opponents they've performed against and Fury's obvious physical advantages, a degree of slickness and good stamina at that size goes a long way. I love Wladimir Klitschko, but let's be honest he's not a hunter killer that aggressively walks his man down looking for the KO. His style plays right into Tyson's hands. And he outboxed Wilder, who hasn't? Szpilka, Washington and Ortiz were as well. The only thing he managed to do that they didn't, was see the final bell.

Usyk doesn't have the physical advantages, but he has had the technically far more complicated opponents. Briedis, Hunter, Glowacki, Mchunu, Bellew and Gassiev are all more technically skilled than Wilder, Hammer, Schwarz, Chisora and yes maybe even Wladimir Klitschko.

Fury is more naturally talented. And I’m considering his height as part of his talent.

    Usyk is more skilled.

Usyk is. The real question is when will he step up in the ring with those big name fighters in the Heaveyweight Division? If he is that great then what the hell is he waiting for now?

    Fury schooled klitschko

    Usyk struggled with Bellew

    So what do you think?

Fury has a couple of physical gifts that make him hard to beat, like size and reach. With him being very mobile for a guy his dimensions and having learned how to fight effectively over the years, makes him problematic h2h.
Usyk on the other hand is athletically very gifted, but skillwise he's up there with the absolute P4P top. Far above Fury's skillset.

It's easy to mention the Cunningham fight, in which Fury got thoroughly outboxed and had to maul his way towards victory, and then comparing Usyk's skills with USS's. But that comes down more to circumstance as definitive proof.

Still there's a big gap in talent and skill between the two, and I'm surprised (even considering the Fury fans here) that this isn't wider for Usyk as the current 4 to 1 vote.
