if it happens, possibly same ending again... Salido looks to taint pure victory yet again Yes, he seemd to come on in the last couple rounds, so it is rather compelling. But i feel it was also his last push too, and that Miguel was looking to stop him once he weakened in the late rounds
I'm ok with a Salido rematch but I don't think its a necessity for Garcia. Yeah, Salido was making it more competitive in the last round or two and the ending was pretty unsatisfying. But I don't think its a given that Salido closes strong if that fight goes on and Garcia was still doing fine. With it being a fairly entertaining fight, the way it ended, and the lack of major options at featherweight I think a rematch is fine if it happens again. Guys like DeLeon and Russell are with GBP so those are probably out. Chris John probably stays in Asia and I'd guess he's out as well. Lopez, Gamboa, and Donaire are in different divisions so they probably don't happen yet. So a rematch with Salido isn't a bad option when Garcia's left with guys like Caballero, Dib, and Ronny Rios.
You could be right Skilletscuz :good I just want to see what happens, even if it ends with a Mikey KO. Which is a big possibility.
Juan Manuel Lopez, i wanna see if he is a quality fighter or if he always was hype. You never know, maybe it was Salido's style giving him fits. Like Junior Jones gave Barrera
Yeah, as a matter of fact, I think he's ready for Mikey. Mikey dosn't bring no better skillset to the table than he does, power included. I don't know or give a **** about who's guiding his career. All I'm saying is that he is ready for Mikey Garcia. He is also patient, precise, hits hard, and has excellent technique. Beating Salido wasn't no major feat and if the fight had of went 12, It might have been a different result. I think G.R. would have knocked Salido's ass out. Plus I would gladly watch GRJ tatoo Mikeys ass in rapid succession and close the show with a vicious left hook.:bbb
Honestly I do not see a challenge for Garcia in or around his weight class. he could just skip 130 and then go to 135 to take on Gamboa and Broner. anyone at 126-130 would just have a punchers chance which with a techcnical boxer like Garcia is a long long shot.
