Someone with a decent ranking in all the bodies, at the moment his ranking aint all that. http://www.fightnews.com/rankings-2 This bloke could be ideal - Roberto Bolonti http://boxrec.com/list_bouts.php?human_id=322907&cat=boxer 7 with WBC/ 10 with WBA/ 12 with IBF.
Well you need to look at some different things. First of all Hearn has said he wants Tony to have a World title fight next year. But at the moment he is not ranked in the top15 with any organisation, although we expect that to change after the Miranda win which was also for the WBC inter something. People will think that the European is the logical next step, but it's tied up right now with Gutkenekt fighting Braehmer in December. Murat is No.1 and is fighting Cloud for the IBF this year, so Bellew who is No.2 will be the mandatory next year. I think we all agree he is beyond anybody else at British level so he should vacate that. What Hearn and Bellew wan't to do is get him higher in the ABC rankings while solidifying his European ranking. Here our the current world ratings; WBC Champion Chad Dawson - NO 1. Mikkel Kessler - NO 2. Bernard Hopkins - NO 3. Eduard Gutknecht - Fights Braehmer in Dec 4. Denis Grachev - Fights Bute in Nov 5. Lucien Bute - Fights Grachev in Nov 6. Isaac Chilemba 7. Roberto Bolonti 8. Cornelius White 9. Ismayl Sillakh 10. Ryan Coyne 11. Andrezj Fonfara 12. Sergey Kovalev 13. Umberto Savigne 14. Pawel Glazewski 15. Jurgan Brahmer - Fights Gutkenekt in Dec WBA Champion - Beibut Shumenov - NO 1. Gayrat Amedov - NO 2. Ryan Coyne 3. Eduard Gutknecht - Fighting Braehmer Dec 4. Vyacheslav Uzelkov - Fighting Cleverly Oct 5. Cornelius White 6. Nicholson Poulard 7. Umberto Savigne 8. Braimah Kamoko 9. Togasilimai Letoa 10. Roberto Bolonti 11. Cedric Agnew 12. Marcus Oliveira 13. Isaac Chilemba 14. Nadjib Mohammedi 15. Sullivan Barrera IBF Champion - Tarvois Cloud - NO 1. NOT RATED 2. Karo Murat - Fighting Cloud 3. Gabriel Campillo - NO 4. Eduard Gutknecht 5. Isaac Chilemba 6. Yusaf Mack - Fighting Froch 7. Vyacheslav Uzelkov 8. Gregory Soszynski 9. Dawid Kostecki 10. Cornelius White 11. Denis Simcic 12. Roberto Bolonti 13. Jean Pascal - NO 14. Denis Grachen 15. Dimitri Sukhotsky - Lost to Cleverly WBO Champion - Nathan Cleverly - NO 1. Soulan Pownceby 2. Braimah Kamoho 3. Denis Simcic 4. Juergen Braehmer - Fighting Gutknecht in Dec 5. Robin Krasniqi 6. Eduard Gutknecht - Fighting Braehmer in Dec 7. Dustin Dirks 8. Bernard Hopkins - NO 9. Vyacheslav Uzelkov - Fighting Clev in Oct 10. Andrzej Fonfara 11. Cornelius White 12. Marcus Vinicius de Oliviera 13. Karo Murat - Fighting Cloud 14. Isaac Chilemba 15. Eleider Alvarez Any of the guys in bold would work and I don't think would cost a fortune to get over to the UK to fight him. So Bellew can defend his international title agaisnt any of these guys until purse bids are called for the Gutknetkt vs Braehmer winner. Of the guys listed I would favour. Issac Chilemba - Top 10 with The Ring, Top 15 with all governing bodies. Just beat Miranda via 10 round UD. A step up from Miranda. Andrzej Fonfara - Can be sold as "The man who retired Glen Johnson". Will improve Tony's european ranking. A step up. Top 15 with WBC & WBO. Cornelius White - Top 10 with everyone. American. Holds the IBF International.
do you know, i don't think ive ever seen a single good post from you, not one. every last one of them is either totally useless, or taking the **** Every.last.one
And who are you exactly? Steeltown, what's wrong with suggesting Cloud? Whats right with it mate? not going to happen. useless suggestion. Ideas that are out there but are possible imo Roy Jones and Danny Green Both names, both faded. Decent oppertunities.
Campillo would be a good fight, Although a very risky and dangerous fight to make on a few months notice. Fonfara would be another good fight coming off the win over Johnson he has name value and definitely a winnable fight.
