Who's next for Benavidez?

    Canelo messed up David's legacy. He should have been a break out star 3 years ago if he had beat up Canelo and become undisputed but instead had to move to the unpopular divisions and try and make the most of it. He said he will come back down to 175 for Bivol after cruiser which is good. His in ring weight at cruiser will probably be about the same as it was against Yarde. The only difference is he will cut less weight.

    Yes. And no offense to Bivol, but it should have been Benavidez who fought Canelo after the Plant fight. Had Benavidez beat Canelo, he would already be seen as one of the top p4p in the world (for years now). Potentially he would already be a bigger star, made way more money and had more big fights.

    Unfortunately, history didn’t play out that way. Benavidez has done everything right inside the ring, but the politics outside sidelined him
