The lightweight division is so deep with talent. It has to be one of the best weight classes in all of boxing.

I'm pleased for Brandon. I didn't rate Teron at all, so he had to do a thorough job on him and although I haven't seen the fight, I read the report and it sounds like he did just that in a one-sided contest. I still don't think he's ready to step up to world level yet though. Somebody like Wes Ferguson would be a good tester for him. If he were to pass that test as easily as he did with Teron, then maybe I'm wrong about Rios and under-rating him.

Brandon is fearless but emotional. Very energetic and personable. He will make a great champion one day.

Just keep busy and do not allow boxing politics to slow down career. Clean out the top fighters as best as can be done.

Lightweight seems to be the deepest division in boxing right now.

I think Martin Honorio would be a good test for him, he just beat Prospect John Molina on Shobox. If Rios is the real deal he should be able to win against Honorio, or Honorio would maybe have enough to push Rios, could be a good learning experience for him.
