Fighting as easy an opponent as his management can get away with, in order to protect that fragile mandible until it's time to cash out getting flattened by Wlad. :yep

Tarver would be good. Has a name and is low risk.

They won't go to Arreola immediately after Stiverne. You can't sell that fight after what happened in Stiverne/Arreola II.

Tarver would be a good choice, actually. A wizened technician who'd bring name recognition but in reality poses zero threat.

Tarver is like Tony Thompson. You don't fight him for a keep busy fight, he's a big puncher with a lot of experience. Certainly he doesn't "pose zero threat".

If he fights the likes of Arreola/Chisora, the fight will be too low profile for a belt owner before those 2 get an actual win to be worthy.

He should fight an undefeated opponent like Glazkov or Perez(almost undefeated) which he will win but there's also some expectation on the opponent which makes the fight exciting and helps build Wilder a bigger reputation and bank account.

I disagree on Tarver. He's 46 years old and has accomplished nothing in the division other than not losing, but he hasn't beaten anyone, either. He's there to be stopped and Deontay could be the man to do it. Worst case, you hammer out an easy decision against a very old fighter who's above his natural weight class.

I think he'd handle Fury easy, but the reason they won't fight is that both are in line to make so many millions with tile shot they each wont risk it. To be more exact, their management wont risk it.

Some good suggestions, I would disagree with Tarver ATM though, there's lower risk fights out there for more prestige. I'd definitely steer clear of Ruiz Jr however.

I think Chisora could be sold couldn't it? USA V UK angle plus he's been in high profile fights in recent memory, Vitali, Haye, Fury x 2, Helenius, Malik Scott.....Windmilder could say he's mixing in the right company I guess...?

Vlad wants to fight Wilder ASAP, but Wilder won't fight him.............Fury has refused to fight Vlad in the past, instead he fought Hammer. Wilder has refused to fight Thompson two times..............Wilder will probably have a rematch with Sconiers. Wach would walk right through Wilder's punches easily, too big and strong and Wilder could not hurt him. Stiverne had been knocked out, but Wilder could not hurt him................Vlad would love to fight Wilder next, but he might be fighting Fury, if Fury will fight him.................Fury talks, but then backs out. Hammer is not in the same class as Vlad............................Stiverne is not in the same class as Vlad..................

Wilder in the Stiverne post fight interview said he would want to fight 3-4 times per year. Since then I heard nothing but silence from him. It seems that he is not eager to fight so often as he proclaimed. So my guess is that he is waiting for Wladimir to clean up all good heavyweights. Wilder will feast on leftovers obviously.

I think that he should fight Fury in May or June and the winner should face the winner of Wladimir v Jennings fight in the final quarter of 2015. However I know such a scenario is highly unlikely.

My guess is that another month or two will pass before we hear something about a possible opponent. And it would be someone outside of top 5. More like somewhere between top 10 and 15.

Wilder is letting his injured right hand recover. He will be back by summer.

Who is Deontay Wilder going to fight next? I'd like to see him face Tony Thompson or David Price.
