Bad Chad vs. bute would be a great fight. I predict chad would crush bute, after he wins UD against pascal. Wow, prolly won't have many canadian fans at that point.
KP vs. bute would be interesting also. I'd have to give the nod to bute in that one, much more athletic and well rounded. Maybe if froch drops outta super 6 froch vs. bute would be possibility.
Another plodding slow footed Zombie, or maybe HBO will order him to fight Juan Diaz if he looks good in the Marquez fight.
For this summer , great chances that it would be the winner of Bika-Brinkley in july in Romania for an obligatory defence. Don't blame Bute for his oppponents. Blame Showtime for never invented him in the Supersix.
Bika or Brinkley doesn't work for July. They are fighting on May the 28th in Quebec city. Two months between two fights is not enough time. We're talking about a championship fight here. Bika or Brinkley would need a two weeks rest. That leaves only 6 weeks of preparation for Bute, including the trip to Romania and the jet lag. That's not possible. Their promoter would be plain dumb to accept that.
I think the next opponent for Bute would be Robert Stieglitz or Dimitri Sartison as he said. Laffie's right, Bika or Brinkley doesn't work for July because they are fighting on May the 28th...
Well, Stieglitz has refused Bute's offer. Of course, a new offer is possible. We'll see. The Bika-Brinkley fight is not official yet for May the 28th, as Interbox stated recently. What's happening? I don't know.
I understand that, but David Messier, the publics relations man of the Bute's team, said to 24h Montreal ( 29/04/2010) that some filers are open but the obligatory defence is the number one option for this summer. maybe it is only publics relations...
