Who's next for Pavlik

If there aren't any good opponents, fight every two/three months against crap ones.

To look at things more cynically, he could make things easier by seeking out some of the prospects and beating them now before they become a threat. The problem is that most of them are still fighting around domestic/continental level (e.g. N'Dam N'Jikam, Barker, Macklin etc.).

 

Pavlik needs to fight a highly ranked opponent plain and simple!! Since becoming the MW champ he has been an utter disappointment!!

For any poster on this thread to recommend Pavlik to fight someone ranked #7 and to say that "their isn't anyone more deserving" shows what path KP fans want their fighter to head down! They're are certain KP fans on this very thread who want Kelly to continue fighting sub-par competition!

 

How is it people were so critical about Maywether fighting opponents who were in a lesser weight division yet all these names that have been thrown at Kelly Pavlik are guys that are in a lesser weight division? Angulo, Cintron, Martinez, Williams ect.......... These guys are probably more willing to step up and fight KP than KP is willing to step up and fight anyone!!!!!!!!

Why aren't we asking the "champ" KP to maybe fight a Bute or a Green!!!! Those guys are preety good!!! Damn even Winky!!!!!

 

Because those "smaller" guys are generally better than anyone else at 160. Mayweather has Cotto, Mosley, Pacquiao, Berto etc. to choose from and he picks ... Marquez.

Why not Mundine........He's fast with good evasion and wont stand in front of Pavlik.....he's got good counters and will be a good tune up for faster guys like PW or Martinez?

 

no...kp fans want him to fight williams. i won't speculate on why its not happening right now...but its not happening. that's what path i want him to go down.

actually, i havent seen one real pavlik fan that wants him to fight anyone other than williams first and foremost.

 

I was actually quoting Boo! We all want to see the PW vs KP fight but that doesn't look like it's not gonna happen anytime soon so I wanna see KP step his Competition up in the mean time!!

as some of u i reallllllly wanted the williams and pav fight..well unless they come out hiding and step up it is not gonna happen ..i will still be waiting. i want that fight for 2 reasons maybe 3.. i think it will be one hell of a brawl and because physicaly they are almost the same..they are both tough fighters with great output, but i do and always did feel kelly would win after some powerful rounds.. the next reason would be to shut wwm up .. he is so annoying with his repeats . any way there are 4 names floating on who he will fight.

Why doesn't Pavlik go up and fight somebody? These guys and countless others went up and fought ex: Williams, Mayweather, Pacman, Martinez, Del la Hoya..................

Probably scared he gets his ass kicked again!!! Hopkins pitched a no-hitter against Pavlik!!!!:-(
