All of a sudden Curtis Stevens is a highly rated hot commodity, hahaha...

Honestly, who knows or really cares. Jacobs is the best option, Taylor is the worst option, and Stevens is somewhere between. Hopefully we get Jacobs but Taylor wouldn't shock me.

I doubt Stevens - Duva really prefers to work with HBO and anyways is trying to build Sevens into a biggish name in his own right. The lessons learnt by Rosado when he went to be a SHO MW opponent won't have been lost on her either.

Jacobs is about GBPs only other MW asset, so I doubt they'll want to throw them together until Jacobs has built up a few more decent wins (OTOH whilst I'm aware of Dannys health issues, one does have to wonder why he hasn't fought anyone of the slightest note since Pirog - his career is going nowhere and it ain't even doing it fast).

Taylor seems like a probable bet, dragging an old but recognised name out of semi retirement to fill out the resume is a well worn tactic (Winky anyone?) -the only problem with Taylor is that there's an outside chance he might just have enough left to win.

I'm voting Jermaine, unless they've finally decided that Dannys career is unsalvageable and feed him to Kid Undercard.

I hope it's Danny Jacobs purely as it's nice to see somebody come back from such adversity

Good point on Duva/HBO working together.

Shot-to-hell Taylor doesn't have a chance IMO. You're right, it's still a 'recognized' name. I think Quillin loves that fight... could be signed in time to be on the BHop undercard.

All three of the options are undeserving of a title shot. As a fan of Taylor I would love to see him have one last shot at a title (retire with the payday win, lose, or draw) and Quillin is his best shot. Most likely result is a Quillan knockout as Taylor has little punch resistance left, but if he can avoid a big shot the upset isn't out of the question.

If Taylor is with GBP...... it will probably be Taylor. Its pretty clear GBP could give a rats arse about Kid Choc, or should I say Kid Undercard at this point. Seems like they are content to keep a belt in their stable, just in case they can use it at some point to lure in prospects with a chance at title shot.

Sad, KC is actually a decent fighter and a good dude and deserves better tbh.

Paper champ IMO and GBP know it. Hence why the dont care about pushing him. They know he'll be found out sooner or later at world level.

Jacobs should be next, the fight would sell well in NYC.

Jacobs & Stevens are way too dangerous for Quillin. both of these guys can beat him. I don't think Golden Boy would want to have their cow loses his unblemished record.

Watch them match Quillin up with a guy they think he can beat. Their plan almost failed against Rosado, and they're going to be even more cautious.

I dont think GBP care if he loses, hes not a cash cow hes just an undercard fighter to them they just dont want to lose belt to another promoter. Hence, they signed Rosado before he got fight.

Macklin and Stevens both would draw better at Barclays than Jacobs, especially Stevens. Problem being they arent with GBP and might actually win. Stevens is the best fight for KC, another Brooklynite power puncher. Regardless of how you rate Stevens (or dont) that fight would sell tickets. Plus hes rated top10 by GBP own boxing mag. All of a sudden, Peter Quillin is like the belle of ball.
Sergio Mora and Macklin are both calling out Quillin on twitter.

We all know that a twitter call out is the same thing as a signed contract.
Why are Quillin's people protecting him from all these signed contracts on twitter?:rofl

I really hope it isn't Taylor. He should be riding 4 wheelers somewhere in Arkansas. I just hope he saved his money.
