Who do you think it will be ? I know Ninja Rua and Joey Villasenor are out there putting together win streaks but I feel like they where brutally beaten by Robbie each time they fought him and dont deserve a shot right now they should match up together in there own rematch. Kala Hose seemed to be headed toward a title fight but Rob McDaniel just tapped him a couple months ago so maybe its him. Maybe a unification bout with Cung Le or a fight with Frank Shamrock you know Franks thinking about it after watching him 2 times in 2 months at ringside. Travis Lutter just got released after his lost to Franklin so hes out there. Elite XC has a relationship with Dream so maybe a fight with one there guys. :think

I'd like to see him de-rail the hypetrain that is Cung Le. Potentially could be a big seller if they can promote it properly and would be a unification bout which is what everyone wants to see.

Other than that the EliteXC middleweight division is painfully shallow as Robbie has already beaten the top dogs there. Thank god that they allow cross promotion!

Would you like a Shamrock-Lawler fight. Shamrock posses a nice style threat and it would be intresting to see if Shamrock can add a Elite XC belt to his trophy wall that includes UFC,Strikeforce,Pancrase,WEC belts.

Wouldn't mind seeing him against either Shamrock or Cung Le. With the Dream MW GP still going on it may be difficult to get a MW from Dream at the moment. Since he is already out of the GP, a rematch Jason Miller could be a option.

Up next for Lawler is losing his belt in a unification bout to Cung Le.

I think that Frank Shamrock is too far past it to be a legitimate title defense. Not to mention him just coming off of some pretty bad injuries from the Le fight. Shamrock would be nothing more than a name on his record and probably a big money fight.

I feel that a champion should be fighting the champions and contenders of the present, not the champions and contenders from 10 years ago.

No f'n way Lawler beats Cung Le. Not cuz Cung Le is God, but because Lawler is Lawler and he's just not too bright. Le KO(1 or 2) Lawler

Smart enough to pound Villasenor, Trigg, and Ninja into dust, all of whom are at least as good of MMA fighters as Le. Le lacks power and gets hit way too much.

Cung is a sharper, more versatile striker than any of those guys - including Ruthless Robbie Lawler. Lawler is just too crude a striker for a fighter like Le. Cung will have a field day with him.

I don't think so, Le gets hit solidly by everybody he fights, and it would only take one from Lawler to end it. Also, Robbie can put him on his back and really hurt him with GnP.

this is actually a very good style match up between the two. I look forward to seeing a fighter that might be a bit more dedicated to tackling Cung Le to the ground.

Lawler does have heavy hands - but he won't be able to handle the mix of Le's strikes. If Lawler keeps coming forward - he will get stopped.
