After fighting bum after bum it's time for a real challenge. He should rematch Charlie Zelenoff or fight Bob Sapp and retired as the GOAT of heavyweight :deal

Well, it's pretty obvious that he's building his record off the backs of these so-called "bums" so he can get a big money fight or two. $15mil or more in a match with Povetkin is real nice. Once he beats Povetkin, another good payday trying to unify the championship with Wlad. I'm looking forward to seeing this all play out.

Wilder's opponent won't be Povetkin after fighting Duhaupas according to Dan Rafael. Another journeyman is possible. But I hope it will be Shannon Briggs. Let's go champ!

He deserves to be stripped if its not against Povetkin.

He should have been stripped for choosing Duplass ffs.

He already had a gimmie with Molina:-(

Povetkin, I don't care for anyone else unless it's another voluntary, but against a top 10 fighter or Wlad

I'll give Wilder 2 more chances after this, if he doesn't fight Povetkin by early-mid 2016 and dumps the belt. I'll officially start jumping on the glass jaw/fraud bandwagon.

    That would be inexcusable.

    He can beat Povetkin

how does him not fighting the massively over rated Povetkin all the sudden change your opinion of DW ? and how the f uck does that conclude anything about his chin ?

when he fights povetkin, expect povetkin to get annihilated and stopped by tko within 5

a 34 yo with 20 ko in 34 fights...i'd say he is pretty safe for a heavyweight boxer

Because if he doesn't fight Povetkin by that time and the world is clamouring for it, it would justify what people have been saying about him, avoiding him to protect his "glass jaw"

I'm Wilder's biggest fan on this site but if he DUMPS the belt, then there's no defense for it. None.

I also don't believe he has this "glass jaw" but if he doesn't fight him, that will raise a lot of red flags

I believe Wilder would destroy Povetkin, but if he doesn't fight him, then there's nothing I can say to defend him.
