Okay, we all know Zab wants to gun for the big boys at 140 with his next fight, let's take a look at his options.

    _____________________________________________________________

    Tim Bradley fights on 7/17

    Devon Alexander fights on 8/7

    Marcos Maidana fights on 8/28

Amir Khan doesn't have a fight scheduled

Okay, clearly he can wait for any of those guys, so who WILL he fight?

    _____________________________________________________________

    Devon Alexander

They had discussions in the past, but Don King will probably once again be the deal breaker here.

    Amir Khan

If his handlers put him in with a guy who can crack like Zab, they should be fired. Khan will be taking feather fisted guys for awhile (Paulie).

    Marcos Maidana

An option, but if Main Event says they are holding a day in October for Zab, fighting at the end of August would take him out of the running.

    Tim Bradley

Bradley is basically the only option left. After squeaking by Junior Witter back in 08, Bradley has been on a bit of a role as of late.

So my question, guys, is how would Zab fare against Bradley?

Everyone of the names above would easily beat Zab except Khan. Khan would have a tougher time. Everyone else: LANDSLIDE

Malinaggi would be a perfect fight for him at this juncture in his career and in Paulies aswell.

So beating Santa Cruz means title shot? Zab looked great, KO with his best punch, the left uppercut. Zabs left uppercut is one of my favorite punches in boxing period. But in big fights he NEVER uses it.

He should get some more rounds under his belt and take on someone inbetween Cruz and the beltholders/other guys.

The peeps he wants to fight are booked up and are unlikely to make an October date with him, he should shake off some more ring rust and look to get these guys early next year.

This. He needs to regain stamina from inactivity and get in good rounds against top rankers before he takes on the top four, if he doesn't he'll regret it

Urango. If he dominates him more than Alexander, then an Alexander/Judah fight in STL could have some marketability.

Judah-Bradley could be a good fight for everyone involved. It would be the biggest name Bradley has faced, and a good money and title opportunity for Judah. Plus, considering their styles, it would probably be an entertaining fight.

At this point he absolutely has not earned a shot at a title. But, this sounds right to me:

Agreed. He needs to work his way up. By next fall he should know where he stands at the weight.
