So many people are criticizing Golovkin for his fights being mismatches. Then, tell me- who ISNT a mismatch?

Canelo is a mismatch- he's got KO'ed. Cotto is a mismatch- he'd get KO'ed easy. You're putting him on a pedestal like Mayweather for pete's sake where nobody has a chance to beat him so they're all "bums" or "mismatches".

    So who isn't a mismatch?

    They can't name those names

everyone is a mismatch at 160 that's how great ggg is.

both cotto and canelo shouldn't even be mentioned they only have names so does Pac and mayweather.

They can not name someone at 160 who would not be a mismatch

I personally have Canelo, Andrade beating him at 54 or 60. And even though I'd favor GGG Lara is a better match then what he's been facing.

Apparently only Ward who last fought at LHW. Maybe Golovkin will challenge himself against bigger guys once he unifies or breaks the consecutive MW title defence record.

That's a joke canelo would be one of the biggest mismatch he has the name but so does Pac.

Canelo can't take a punch from a average hitting mw let alone GGG

The only thing cotto or canelo offer GGG is the name not tests at all

Ward would be the only one you can say would be a big test

ward....i think canelo could prob give him a fight.....i think he beats cotto...most likely ko's him easily....cotto is too small....the rest of the current 160 guys lack any real talent....there are a few guys mentioned from 154 who may be able to give him a tough fight and maybe beat him too....

ward would win comfortably....which is why they dont want the fight.......like ive said many times...i think most would recognize ggg as the best mw without much debate.....the question is just how good is he? thats what we want to know....its not "we want to see him lose"....just want to know what level this guy really is....and ward fight would prove that......its not a crazy fight...were asking him to go up one division......you guys make a million excuses for it or say "they offered him a fight"......just stop...its a legit fight....

i honestly would laugh and cry at the same time if floyd ended up getting the cotto/canelo winner.....instead of ggg.....

There is not one fighter on GGG's resume that would beat Canelo, yet GGG has excuses why he cant fight Lara.

Alvarez is proven vs better comp, skill for skill Alvarez is better, and GGG himself had said that a 19yr old Alvarez in sparring was one of the toughest fighters he's been in the ring with.

Everybody looks good beating journeyman til they step up.

Funny thing is, I could see Lemieux beating both Cotto and Canelo at 160. Cotto for sure; though, Canelo would be a tough matchup for him.

    Lara shouldn't even be mentioned.

Golovkin is that much better than everyone in his division I guess. Same with Mayweather. That's when people start asking them to move up (I.e Mayweather vs GGG and GGG vs Ward)

Alvarez has no hope at the full 160 limit against big guys same goes for mayweather and Pac yes they have the name but that's something totally different

    Alvarez wouldn't beat stevens,murray,lee,david,quillin ext

Not funny at all David would knock both of them out quite easily based on size and his power advantage is far to much.

As great as cotto is he is not a true MW

There's no excuse. Golovkin CANT FIGHT LARA. He's with Haymon and HBO does not work with Haymon- point, blank, period. Golovkin won't bother calling out Lara because it's not even realistic for the reason I described. Lara knows this. He's just calling out GGG's name to ride off his coat tails.

I feel your trying to hype GGG and make it seem like hes been facing this murders row, its commendable I actually enjoy watching him fight but you guys are ridiculous.

There is not one fighter on GGG's resume that you'd LEGITIMATELY say beats Alvarez. Catchweight or not didnt Cotto just beat the hell out of GGG's best opponent?

People who say he should fight Ward don't say it because they wanna see him lose, they do because you jackasses keeping talking like hes some ATG fighter who everybody in every division is ducking yet makes excuses when a Real Top Fighter calls him out.

If/when they fight I got Alvarez by Majority Decision, if Gennandy won I'd have no problem giving credit.

Here's the thing you gotta do something to actually get credit 1st.

Then you guys have the nerve to say him moving up must mean hes great, correct if I'm wrong but didn't Pacquiao start at 106,Mayweather 130, Cotto 140, hell Alvarez 140 etc....that aint just one division. Him going to 168 and winning only proves hes not a complete hypejob. Hopkins at 40+ went from 60-75. Yet Glovokin deserves a cookie for possibly moving up once. GTFOH you guys are starting to sound like Khan and his Fan's.

according to ESB, a fighter can't be great, special or any other positive adjective in the dictionary, it's always one of the three: he's vastly overrated, his opponents are all bums after he fights them or he fights in a weak division
