147 Lbs will be a fascinating division as will 168, 130 and 135.

The potential for clarity at HW is certainly attractive - The only concern is that if Vitali does come back and get a piece of the pie - I REALLY would be annoyed that the HW championship is frozen because of the K brothers' promise to mummy not to fight one antoher.

But POTENTIALLY - Having Wladimir or Peter or someone as an undisputed HW should really be the focus to allow clarity in the highest profile division as far as mainstream interest is concerned.

But **** that lumbering class - The real action is from 168 down.

I could see Haye getting brutally KO'd by the first decent HW he fights.

December 8 will obviously have an impact on the landscape as well.

Should Hatton win - I think he stays at 147 and tries to build off of a PBF victory.

In that case, I think 140 will suffer a bit due to the champs of the division being mouthy pigeon punches like Malinaggi or another British champ in Witter.

Those two fighting one another is hardly going to set the world of boxing ablaze.

On the other hand - Say Hatton looses - Witter Hatton is potentially a bigger fight in England than Woods Calzaghe as there's a history and it's for a lot more marbles now.

So I think December 8 will be pivotal for the immediate future of 140.

champ at 19 years old? last time a pinoy did it was a boxer named "manny". right now, banal is contented to fight some bums. should we rush this kid and throw him to the fire next year?

I read an interview with aldeguer that he is ready to be a champ...Im assuming a minor belt next year..he needs to get a taste of it because he is a very humble..level headed kid (unlike PAc). He has actually talked about the pitfalls of not focusing in boxing. Hed take pride in that belt. And his boxing style is so diff from Pac .DLH have been interested in this guy for years since he was 15. Roach had called him the best young prospect in the world

2008 has the potential to be even better than this year and that says a lot.

**** all the writers and "sports experts" who say boxing is dying. Even the worst years in boxing were still better than almost any season of baseball or football.

2007 is going to be tough to beat. From September to December this year, there hasnt been one dull moment! Best 4 month-period for boxing EVER!
