gym rat they will get all the benefits that the researcher would have and a lot more.

 

A lot deoends on the pedigree of the two men involved but if all things are equal....

It's a great question, you know. The gym rat will most likely be more emotionall involved whereas the researcher will most likely be trying to enhance their reputation through their work on the said boxer.

If the gym rat knew a lot of other fighters then in the end I'd give him the nod but both men can bring something different and neither should be discounted.

 

Just to add... Everyone, without exception, is biased. You can't ever get away from that.
