Who's opinion means more, a BoxRec addict or a gym rat?

Boxrec warriors can search and split data to fit pretty much any purpose. Look at the funny ass thread showing one guy losing to another guy who lost to Joe Cal. If a boxrec warrior wants to make a fighter look bad, he will, and vice versa.

A gym rat might not know the rankings but they can recognize skills and styles, things that don't appear on boxrec.

 

I'm not sure why BoxRec "addicts" get a bad rap. What's so embarrassing about relying on actual data/facts? Numbers aren't everything but at least these guys are reading correct info as opposed to delusional casual fans who pretend to be real boxing fans and pull random things out of their ass.
