When you think about these two Heavyweights, who do you think was more impressive, Haye with his good reflexes but landing only a few shots or Povetkin by taking full blows from Wlad but landing basically nothing on Wlads head?
There's just no competing with this man, Wlad. They both performed on a 0/10 level. Haye can say that he didnt take as much damage as the regular Wlad opponent but both Haye and Pov landed nothing and got beaten soundly round after round.
Povetkin stayed in range and ate less clean right hands. Early he came in bobbed and weaved and made Wlad pretty uncomfortable and for the most part had wlads offense stifled Haye however took less of a beating and landed more
Haye and Povetkin tried completely different fights. Haye tried to leap in from the outside with wild ass Hayemakers trying to touch Wlad's chin but fell short again and again because Wlad could see them comming. However Haye was able to stay out of range most of the time so he didn't take any damage. Povetkin tried to dive under the jab and divebomb Wlad's chest. He made Wlad very uncomfortable but at the same time got roughed up and manhandled himself, hence the knockdowns. Haye did better but Povetkin gave a great effort. I think Haye is the 3rd best Heavyweight in the world, behind #1 Wladimir and #2 Vitali. I know Vitali has been inactive but he's in great shape and I think he still has enough to edge it out against Haye. I have Povetkin as #4, I think Povetkin is better than guys like Arreola, Chisora, Wilder, and Fury.
