I gotta hand it to Pacquiao. His Resume is better. My opinion.

Which goes to show you how good a fighter Barrera was.

He was brought in as a stepping stone in the first Morales fight and was thought of as past his best. He was no longer prime just because he won consistently. He still got beat up by Jones twice and was in a number of wars before the Pac fight.

You know **** all about boxing Turbotime just another Floyd nuthanger or hugger which ever keeps you safe at night.

Mate If you think Barrera was Past prime in 2003 your knowledge of boxing is what it is.
Just because you lose a fight doesnt mean your past your best as a fighter.

**** 99% of fighters lose in there career doesnt mean because he lost he was past his best.

Turbotime way of thinking is if you lose your past your best as a fighter.

**** Hagler lost early on i suppose he was past his best after those loses.

Mate you just wrapped up your whole Boxing knowledge of the sport.

I mean if you look at Barrera career from 2000 to 2007
    His record was

    LOST E.Morales SD (WBC/WBO Title 122)
WON L.Freitas KO (WBO Title 122)
WON J.Valbuena UD (WBO Title 122)
WON J.Salud TKO (WBO Title 122)
WON N.Hamed UD (IBO Title 126)
    WON E.Sanchez RTD (126)
WON E.Morales UD (WBC Title 126) This fight in 2002
    WON J.Tapia UD (126)
    WON K.Kelley TKO (126)
LOST M.Pacquiao TKO (126) This fight in 2003
    WON P.Ayala TKO (126)
WON E.Morales MD (WBC Title 130)
WON M.Fana KO (WBC Title 130)
WON R.Peden UD (WBC/IBF Title 130) Peden just KOd Nate Campbell
WON R.Juarez SD (WBC Title 130)
WON R.Juarez UD (WBC Title 130)
LOST J.Marquez UD (WBC Title 130) This fight 2007
LOST M.Pacquiao UD (WBC Title 130)

So it was 4 years until Barrera lost again after the Pacquiao fight. 4 years.
At the time of the Pacquiao fight Barrera was a shockingly 29 Years Old.

Yep he wasnt even 30 yet according to Turbo he was way past his Prime even though after 2003 he reeled off 6 wins in a row against Top 10 Ring ranked guys at 130 weight class including the number 1 in Morales.

And i will reply to this post just to make some sense so all the casual and i mean casual fans out there can understand.

The Dela Hoya fight mmmmmm let me see was in The Ring magazine and every Boxing writer expert or past fighters themselves had ODH as a huge favorite i mean Ring magazine asked 20 Experts and 17 Picked Dela Hoya.

Now only after the fight did the Floyd fans and Pac haters say he wasnt himself. I agree he looked old overnight. But Pac was Lightning.

Margarito fight- heres a fight that Mayweather himself ducked and every boxing fan knows it. Manny took the fight as we all wanted to know was his gloves loaded against Cotto after getting exposed by Mosley. Plus i feel fans wanted to really see if PACQUIAO could take a Punch from a real heavy hitting big Welterweight.

Hatton fight- This is were Pacquiao scarred the living **** out of the Mayweather Camp as Mayweather Sr got to see Hatton KTFO in what was clearly the best and heaviest combo we have seen. I mean Hatton never really was good the 2 times he fought at 147 he got a gift against Collazo and was schooled by Mayweather after about round 3 onwards of that fight.
But i mean Pac well at his own weight were he looked awesome against Paulie M he was hit like a Truck against Pac. Anymore Questions about how Hatton had to bow to Mayweathers demands yet Pac went in there and went mmmm BANG 2 rounds.

Mosley fight for me was arrrr you know well we seen it and it happened only because Pac vs PBF fell through. But also was it my eyes or was Mayweather on ***** street against the old Man Sugar and held on for life were Pac never got stunned or rocked from what i remember.
    Next Question

Clottey fight- Another fight taken as Mayweather still hiding from the Hatton fight. It was put together because he was the best available at the time.

Now for the Real Mayweather Fans the ones that can smell **** a mile away and dont just eat PBF ****.

Mayweather is a great fighter and he plays the villian with passion. Most talented fighter of the 2000's but i will say this all fighters and even Pac have taken fights they wish were a better. They have taken easier fights most fighters do it.

But the fact remains and i mean this.

Pac's resume when really looked at is one of the best you will ever see.

Mayweather not far behind but he doesnt come as close because the same men they have fought Pac has beaten them far worse than PBF could ever dream of.

This comes back to his style. But it is what it is.

Rather try fighting great fighters and lose, than be undefeated with fighting a lot of "bums".

Wins over the three great mexicans are hard to top. Add a bunch of other names and you have one hell of a resume.

If you go by rankings, Floyd has fought the higher ranked fighters.

Some fighters hit their prime later in life Bernard Hopkins being the prime example, as most recognize his prime starting at 36. Granted this usually tends to happen because of a relative late start in the sport, as was the case for Hopkins as well.

Let me say this. I think at this moment in time, Pacquiao's career is greater than Floyd's (Floyd is catching up though). BUT, if I was a fighter, I'd rather have Floyd's resume and record

I would of rather have taken risks and get a great resume, then an undefeated one.:bbb
