Who's resume is better per weight divison between DLH-PBF?

Oscar, unlike Floyd and many others, fought EVERYONE. There can be no what ifs with him. He is a true ATG because of this. He hit the peak of his success and kept going until he hit the wall, that's the same of every true champion.

 

Oscar is arguably better in every division except 130. But overall Mayweather ranks higher.

 

That makes absolutely no sense. You state that PBF has a better resume at 130 and that's it, yet he ranks higher???

Had Mayweather fought the guys DLH did (in their prime, like DLH did), he WOULD NOT be undefeated.

And had Mayweather fought Forrest or Winky like Mosley, he WOULD NOT be undefeated either.

 

That is pure speculation.

 

He's not and history will agree with me. Just because a fighter is more popular fought better names and lost doesn't mean he ranks higher. PBF was the best fighter of his era, undefeated, P4P for 3 years and ring the top 10 P4P for 10 years, his boxing skills are better than Oscar's hands down. Oscar doesn't have a leg to stand on in this he only wins via popularity contest because inside the ring PBF owns his fishnet ass.

PBF is the best boxer of his era.
PBF is undefeated.
PBF is 1-0 against Oscar outside his best weightclass to boot.

 

i cant find a damn thing to defend floyd, the judah win was good but we all know how mentally ****ed up he gets after 4 rounds, shamba mitchell was never anything to scream about neither was a shot as hell arturo gatti or a journeyman level fighter in Carlos baldomire. Hatton was a hyped up piece of trash as well any current top 10 welterweight could have KO'd hatton in more brutal fashion in fewer rounds
the only decent win he has is a win over a past his best del la hoya and TBH he did nothing in that fight to suggest he deserves to be ranked in the top 30

exactly people tend to overrate oscar on paper but scratch below the surface...the guy has lost every major career defining fight hes ever been in he should have 8 losses on his record got some gift decisions and people tend to get over influence by the fact HE FACED better opposition. Faced being the key word NOT BEAT

 

he didnt even fight the best guys in his weight class there were a whole host of fighters he could have went in there with and if he ever tried going in with any of them he would have gotten his ass beat this is fact,P4P against DLH no case can be made for floyd.

Exactly and it's ****ing ridicolous. He fought them and lost what's so hard to understand about that? He can't get rewarded for fighting the best and losing if that's the case Zab should be an ATG.

 

for the past 5 or so years mayweathers been calling out oscar and im willing to bet that was the only reason that made him go want to go up in weight...he fought de la hoya on de la hoyas terms well above his natural weight class and still beat him comfortably...no version of oscar ever beats floyds ass maybe he might be able to win but a beatdown no way even a prime oscar faded down the stretch and struggled with defensive fighters like whittaker...i take prime floyd over prime de la hoya p4p
