These two guys fought in different decades and are ultimately completely different sized opponents despite Floyd's recent journey into 147lbs. Tito fought at 147lbs for a while but was always healthiest at 154lbs.

So looking at the quality of opposition fought and beaten...Who's resume impresses you more?

    To list some names

Trinidad: Camacho, Campas, Carr, Whitaker, DLH, Reid, Thiam, Vargas, Joppy, Hopkins, Mayorga, Wright, Jones Jr.

Mayweather: Corrales, Hernandez, Chavez, Castillo, Sosa, N'dou, Corley, Gatti, Judah, Baldomir, DLH, Hatton

Taking this into account, if you were to base these two fighters ATG ranking and on the basis of their opposition who would rank higher than the other? :think

    Trinidad.
I think PBF has a very weak resume actually. How many ATG has PBF beaten. OSCAR...

Trinidad's competition is light years ahead.

Floyd's competition looks worse and worse everyday, even though he's jumped weight classes.

Yes he did but look at the level of opposition. You ask an average person to recognize the names on PBFs resume and they wont know more than 2.

YOu want to talk about a good resume check out Oscars. I never really realized it until a few days ago when i looked it up. That resume is stacked with ATGs and top fighters at that time.

Oh yea alot of PBF fans always talk about the Hernandez win as being very credible. Guess what Oscar beat him before Mayweather. KOd him too.

First off, you can't include names of people Trinidad lost to. Would you put jobs in which you fired from on your resume? Therefore, Hopkins, Wright and Jones Jr. get taken off his resume. Also, there were two good Hernandez's on Floyd's resume(Chicanito and El Famoso), you should also include Angel Manfredy. Both have oldies and blown up fighters on their resume. However, I would still give the edge to Tito. However, the difference isn't as great as some are making it out to be.

How many guys did Tito **** up before Oscar got to them? Camacho, Mayorga, Carr, Vargas. I don't think you can discount a win just becaus someone else beat that fighter before.

Cant get mad at what u said but you cant deny that if Floyd fought Cotto. Tszyu and Mosley (when it meant something) that his resume probably would had been better than Tito's. What u think?

Yes, his resume would be better as losses count in a resume and Trinidad has two very embarassing losses, but his comp still wouldn't be as good.

As it stands now I still favour Trinidad's overall resume to Floyd's, his two losses came to horrible stylistic nemesis' and top elite fighters in the same right. Both a level above Miguel Cotto when Trinidad fought them, Cotto being 1 of Mayweather's serious stylistic nemesis and I personally think Cotto would clean Mayweather out after viewing both Castillo fights recently.

There are many factors to a resume, Trinidad beat better fighters, lost badly, but to better than fighters than Mayweather even has available to fight.

A Trinidad Fight means there is going to be a "FIGHT".

A PBF Fight could mean "take Somenex tonite and sleep, sleep, sleep".

You are right, but even when Tito lost we all knew it was by styles that were not right for him, but he took on the challenges anyway, plus he never gave up (tried to get up when Hop KO him) and that why he still has fans till this day
