Who's shown to of had a better chin GGG ? Carl Froch ?

How did Canelo lose the fights if he landed all these big shots ? What are you going to say , that GGG landed more power shots on Canelo than Canelo landed on GGG?

If thats the case how come nobody claims Canelo has one of the greatest chins of all time? Because GGG hits a lot harder than Canelo does.

The answer is because over 24 rounds GGG barely landed anything meaningful on Canelo. All the clean hard punches were landed by Canelo which is why people keep going on about Golovkins chin.

Getting outlanded on power punches in the first fight is why he fought the second fight ultra defensively. He knew he couldn't win like that but did so anyway which says he was very aware of the possibility of getting stopped by pudding fisted Canelo.

One of the reasons he lost that fight is because he didn't trust his durability.

Bute was known as big puncher in his hayday but the fear of taking a hard shot didn't stop Froch from going all out on his ass while he had him pinned on the ropes.

Not only is Frochs chin tried , tested and proven to be stronger , but his will and mental resolve is also proven to be stronger.

 

His chin moved directly into that missile , increasing its power on impact. . GGG never experienced a punch like that in his life.

 

Froch fought bigger guys at a certain weight more people can hurt you

 

froch certainly recovers faster, he came back from getting beat by ATG by getting in the ring and almost killing Bute.

3G hasnt yet found his face despite only facing a lower division elite (but I hope he does soon). He has gone depressss

 

We can only speculate that based on the fact that Froch took bigger shots more often, that his chin is more proven. However, we have never even seen GGG's legs stiffen. I remember bombs from both Lemmings and Stevens that sent GGG back a few steps, it looked just like the terminator scene where he takes a shotgun blast, stops for a second, then starts walking forward again. No one knows the limits of GGG's chin, and I don't think we will see it's limits during his career.

Seriously guys of all things you guys obsess about fighters chins, it's honestly the most boring aspect of boxing you could talk about. Both have great chins, only difference is all Froch had was a great chin (he relied on it) and GGG is much more than just a great chin.

landing a few power shots doesnt win you fights

just coz ggg took a few canelo shots doesnt mean he won the fight, i never said canelo landed so many power shots on ggg that night, stop putting words in my mouth

going back on topic, ggg has never been buzzed or close to being dropped, froch on the other hand was hurt badly and in la la land....

Carl Froch is was an absolute warrior who stepped in there with anyone. Hell of a resume and fighter. He's also better than anyone on GGGs resume.
