Very probably, he was world class in a division that was pretty strong at the time. He resume is (obviously) a lot better at the weight than Hattons and H2H he had a big punch and wouldn't have had to go looking for Hatton.
I reckon he would knock hatton out at 147. He would have no trouble finding him and Colin hits harder than Mayweather
Is always difficult weighing up Enzo Mac. For a guy his size he has tremendously quick hands and is a top body puncher and mixes well to body and head. Jones certainly does him on temperament though. Enzo looked visibly nervous on the ring walk for the Haye fight which leads on to his shaky defence. Defence is one of the reasons I fear for Lockett as Enzo Calzaghe does not have a good record of protecting fighters getting hit after throwing the clusters that he trains them to throw. Well apart from JC but he's one off. Couldn't believe that Enzo Calzaghe didn't advise Gavin Rees between rounds against Kotelnik to cover up on the way out. Colin Jones has the more professional grit and all around approach to deal with a battle. Offensively Enzo is better but he needs to improve his defence as his chin will not allow him to get way with it in the top bracket unless he's able to get his digs in first, unlike Colin Jones who could trade with the best for the distance
